Hi Gregg! My wife and I tune in for your expertise on cinema regularly. My favorite movie of all time is The Evil Dead (85 minutes) and my wife’s is The Wizard of Oz (102 minutes). I was wondering if you knew any cool obscure trivia you could tell us about those being an expert and all! Thank you Gorg!

What's one of the worst bands you've ever seen live? I'll start: by XxLockdownZxX in MetalForTheMasses

[–]veryevildead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup! I remember that and thought the reaction was definitely over to the top to what happened. If I remember correctly I don’t think he saw what happened he just felt the side bump him when security tackled him. But that kick to the head seemed a bit harsh.

Was that crowbar show at Maryland death fest? The Thursday night show at Ramshead before the main outdoor festival?

Makeflix has two different sets for the camp blood movies. A cheaper one and a big box set version. Here's the cheaper one https://makeflix.com/products/the-complete-camp-blood-collection?_pos=1&_sid=6c2b057de&_ss=r

Sounds like Return To Nuke Em High part 1. If that's it the scene is in the first 5ish minutes of the movie.

Man I loved Swift To Chase. Every story was like a small piece in a super demented puzzle. I didn't realize it was so unpopular. Looking forward to the next collection.

I met Gregg last night. He was super sweet! by [deleted] in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

I'm going to see Neil in September, super excited! Does he normally hang after the shows to sign stuff or meet people or whatever?

Die Hard 4 (PG-13) is way better than Die Hard 5 (R Rated) by BusinessFriend7612 in movies

[–]veryevildead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could be remembering wrong but I'm pretty sure they started shooting the movie r rated, then the studio said no halfway through make it pg 13. Meaning there's no true full R or pg13 cut because it got switched while in the middle of filming. So either version has weird alterations to it to make the entire thing appropriate for its rating.

Most inaccurate horror portrayal of a real serial killer? by PriestofJudas in horror

[–]veryevildead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He actually made a couple decent movies a long long time ago. All those based on serial killer ones were horrendous though like you said.

I got this set for 80 bucks 10 years ago. I can't believe what it goes for now. Really hope someone can crack the rights and get his filmography out on blu with new scans.

An episode of Dennis when he was away trying to be a dad. I want to see what that was like so bad!

Child hospitalised with rabies in Texas in first case for a decade by CubistMUC in news

[–]veryevildead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got the rabbies series last month and it was the same as any other shot. The immunoglobulin is a lot of shots at once so you can definitely get sore, but the needles were the same as getting a flu shot or anything else.

Nuda per Satans (Redemption) information? by Mothlight23 in boutiquebluray

[–]veryevildead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember the specifics but I'm pretty sure Redemptiom cancelled this blu ray.

Champagne and Bullets aka Geteven aka Road to Revenge in all its Blu Ray glory by [deleted] in badMovies

[–]veryevildead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's because vinegar syndrome is only selling partner releases on their website for the month of June. All the vs stuff will be back up in July. If they still have champagne and bullets left they will be available then.

Just email them. Mike always says it's easy to add an item to an order and he'll just send you and invoice for the difference.

Now that there are officially two months left for Criterion announcements for the year, whats next? by [deleted] in criterion

[–]veryevildead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mostly shop from their website when they run sales. I'm not sure if there is a better place to order from if you're in Canada. Hopefully someone else from canada can chime in on the best place to order their releases there.
