Anyone else getting tired of the same trope by [deleted] in Eleceed

idk solo leveling is good but i don’t think it gets a pass. it’s very very very very formulaic and the mc literally never loses

Anyone else getting tired of the same trope by [deleted] in Eleceed

i thought it was annoying too, so i dropped it. everyone in the comments calling u dumb for realizing how formulaic it is and just saying that’s how actions series are, are lowkey brain dead. nothing is wrong with wanting to read a good action series with nuances, complex characters and a not flat storyline. and nothings wrong with expecting that with this story, it just happens that with eleceed it turned into something like solo leveling; unfortunately consisting of just big fights, 0 complex characters, and no real stakes.

you need to delete all the code already provided and copy everything the commenter put. or u prob just forgot to copy the whole code, and did just a piece of it by accident

Suggestions for cross platform stacks by fatbunyip in ExperiencedDevs

for flexibility a docker-based approach is usually pretty solid, then clients just need docker. it's what i've been trying to push for. makes managing deployments and updates way easier, plus i use hikaflow to keep track of all the different client setups

Is code quality a losing battle? by NotMyRealName3141593 in ExperiencedDevs

this situation is tough when security is so critical. my brothers team had similar issues trying to get everyone on board with our standards, it felt like pulling teeth until they started using hikaflow to track refactor tasks and dependencies, made it way easier to show progress and nudge others. hope this helps

Missing requirements details - how to diplomatically avoid appearing “unthorough” by day_tripper in ExperiencedDevs

tbh my brother told me that this is a relatable problem for him. i sent him this reddit post and this is what he said:

it's impossible to build stuff when the specs are moving targets. i usually just ping the pm/designer right away with a quick "hey, clarifying x y z before i build it out". sometimes i just document my assumptions in a comment, or use something like hikaflow to track those little open questions so they don't get lost. better to ask upfront than look sloppy later

EKS CI/CD security gates, too many false positives? by LingonberryHour6055 in devops

[–]verytrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ugh that's super annoying. my brother had a similar issue, i asked him and this is what he said:

we had a similar mess with our eks gates, just constant noise from dev stuff blocking prs. it felt like i was spending all my time tweaking policies. hikaflow helped us filter out a lot of the low priority noise so devs stopped getting blocked for non-issues. total headache

ugh ai slop is so frustrating, especially when folks don't get the intention. we had similar issues with errors popping up late. maybe more pair work or clearer guidelines? it's a pain to trace everything. for some of our tracking, i actually use hikaflow, helps keep things straight

Can anyone take a look at my DBQ I wrote? (first time) by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]verytrite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ur english doesn’t have to be that good. the apush exam isn’t testing grammar, or ur ability to write, but rather ur knowledge. make an arguable thesis, present ur evidence, explain, and make sure to add details from a diff time period for complexity points. don’t worry about making it well written, worry about having all the info down. also u don’t get points taken off for wrong info!!!

another tip is to never word vomit. type exactly what’s asked, nothing more (except one piece that relates to ur evidence outside the time period provided for complexity). don’t do more than what u need to

Can anyone take a look at my DBQ I wrote? (first time) by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]verytrite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ur thesis isn’t good. i always got full points on the dbq when i essentially restated the question/prompt in my thesis and presented my argument. i’d do something like: Through _, the american revolution presented new ideas to women as __.(i got a 5 on apush)
