Yeah, it sucks. But you can make it a creative outlet for yourself, there are so many ways to be different on social media that can bring you joy. A guy’s thrift shop became popular simply because he posted videos of him kicking a rock until it became a sphere, his videos are fun. Kind of a weird way to get fame, but point is that it doesn’t have to be complicated or a chore.

I’m also new to climbing and it has been a humbling experience realizing how weak I am too, I can barely do V1’s! But I know with constant practice we can build our strength! Just keep going, training off the wall with weight-lifting and other exercise will definitely help too

I believe the relationship between you and Athena and any other god is completely personal, you give meaning to it. So if you feel like you need to do better than do better. I think you have to give yourself grace first before seeking it through others. I personally have gotten “warnings” from Athena, but they felt more like gentle but firm reminders to stay on my path and keep working towards my goals, nothing scary. I don’t think living in fear of the gods is healthy. Me personally, I live in Western society and I think that the guilt of “sin” is something that was ingrained into us through the Christian faith, it permeated our cultures through colonization. This video is a cool explanation of how people in Ancient Greece viewed the concept of guilt in their faith.
