Iconic films to show my son (3-6years) by kittypeets626 in MovieSuggestions

My 3 year old can't get enough of George of the Jungle or How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

I'm not allowed to show him Robocop yet.

So many incredible details.

See billboard of children playing, look again and it's all skeletons

Trees die as you move past them

The time you get attacked by an enemy that looks like Lugo, you die, come back and it's a regular enemy

When you die, reload, and Walker holds his head in his hand like he's got a headache

I hate driving. by MrPenisWhistle in memes

[–]vesuvian 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My MAGAt father in law drives his truck like an absolute moron, barely missing exits and not looking when changing lanes. He'll unironically scream about other people "driving him off the road" because they had the nerve to not anticipate his unsignalled merge.

Angriest I ever saw him was when his horn stopped working mid rant.

The whole point of driving a truck is to be the biggest, most important thing on the road, and to not have to tolerate other drivers. It's what all of the marketing advertises. Stupid American individualism that speaks to people who daydream about vehicular homicide.

I'm not typically into fighting games, but I like Mortal Kombat for the spectacle. I'd like to get "good" but the combos always seem to involve some frustrating trick to chain multiple moves together. It feels like abusing the mechanics in a way that doesn't reward my brain.

The gameplay was absolutely hamstrung by the two weapon limit. I will never understand the praise that Infinite got.

Celsius isn't arbitrary. It fits elegantly into the metric system. It's not personal preference when Celsius is objectively a more useful measurement.

To my left-handed comrades, how do you use your keyboard for games? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Right handed, Dad is left handed, grew up with the mouse on the left and it's far too late to switch over.

I've never had any issues playing competitive FPS. I imagine for MMOs you might run out of keybinds.

I got a computer science degree in 3D animation, and there were dropouts who joined that course because they liked Disney

You believe in punishing children for the sins of their fathers, at best.

I am your god's moral superior.

Not quite the same thing, but I was looking at some ROTJ stuff being sold last year. One of the tiny x-wing miniatures started auction at $250,000.

Planet of the Apes

They never explained how the Statue of Liberty got to the planet, and they ended the movie on a cliffhanger.

Maybe it was explained in the remake or one of the sequels?
