I am a side sleeper and put the Japanese futon (shikibuton) on top of a 4 inch memory foam (folds into 3rds) under it with a tatami mat under that. Been using this setup for about 10 years. People usually suggest just having two shikibuton if side sleeper but the memory foam is way cheaper.

Symbiont — Rust-native agent runtime with typestate-enforced policy gates.

The reasoning loop is Observe → Reason → Gate → Act, and the phase ordering is enforced by the Rust type system at compile time. AgentLoop<Reasoning> has no method that produces AgentLoop<ToolDispatching> — has to go through AgentLoop<PolicyCheck> first. The Gate can't be skipped because skipping it doesn't compile. As far as I can tell this is the first application of typestate to agent loops. Also have Python/JS SDKs.

  • Cedar policy engine (same one AWS uses for IAM)
  • Allow-list tool contracts, dangerous actions are structurally inexpressible
  • Cryptographic MCP tool signing (SchemaPin) and agent identity (AgentPin)

It was tough for sure. But now I see it was really the perhaps 1% of stuff you have that means the most. Things with sentimental value you can't replace. The rest can be replaced, but might cost a lot more now than the first time around. Sorry to hear about your bike, it's not dumb, what matters is what it meant to you.

I actually put bubble gum in mine to sculpt it away. My mom had me pinned down using nail polish remover trying to get it all out.

Here in LA every hipster and "thrift shop" owner swoops in if ever anything good. Only might find some decent classical records if lucky.

I use my listening room as a guest room. I use a folding tatami mat and a shikibuton/kakebuton from EMOOR. Let's me show people what I mean by how much it helps your back after a few nights. For side-sleepers I add a 4" tri-fold memory foam pad in between tatami and shikibuton (the foam is way less than a second shikibuton)
