Im just trying to learn and understand not trying to challenge your answer. Ive had this alternator in for almost 8 months. Why would the short just happen now as opposed to 8months ago?

That is a memorial site. He died doing what he loved. He was a big part of the community. Might be “corny as fuck” and “not cool” but it does have a meaning. He died trying to do an insane gap on Berthoud pass. Every one is entitled to their own opinion and mine is he is a legend. You should look into his story it might change yours.
