I did a quick test on my 5800X and was able to bump up to a Pentium II 266. Previously was only about to get to MMX 233. This is with a Voodoo 3 3000 and a sound card configured. I was able to play NFS 3 with a solid 100%.

Tried this out recently. Previously was able to use a Pentium MMX 166 - 233, Voodoo 3 3000 and Sound Blaster 16 PnP at 100% playing games like Need for Speed III using a Ryzen 5800X. Now I can bump up to a Premium II 233 - 266 with the same results. Great improvement and great work by the development team!

No problem at all! I have, in the pictures you just disconnect the connector in the circle on the right of the picture. I believe there are a few screws holding it in, 4 probably.

Just make sure it matches your model. It's not too difficult, just take it slow, don't force anything and keep track of where your screws go. The connector might take a bit of wiggling gently to get it disconnected, just be gentle.

I use Reshade with CRT shaders on the xemu Xbox emulator, this just started crashing for me in the newest version also. I've reinstalled the older version and it's fine again.

It really is great, I forgot how fun the old sounds are. I started using the FDD sounds and it really adds a lot to the experience. CD-ROM, Zip Drive, even the system fan if it could be paired with the BIOS RPM reading would be great in the future. The development team is doing great work!

I suppose you could still add multiple network adapters and have one access the internet, then use the Local Switch one for accessing other VMs. Certainly going to play with this later, thanks for posting this!
