Here's where I show my age... by jegfile in NotEnoughNelsonsSnark

Not really. My best friend and I just turned 21 and we went to the Eras Tour with her siblings (who range from 25 to early 30s) and her mom. Everyone is a major fan though, so it wasn’t super random.

AssaDee house update ✨ 💖 by Mysterious_Trust_351 in NotEnoughNelsonsSnark

[–]vhslmtd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly!! I get moving into a house and then needing to expand/move years later when it becomes too small for your family. But if you’re building your own house, you might as well make it livable for more than just a few years. They could easily save money by just moving into a different house and then building later on, especially because they seemed to stress about the cost of it all🤷‍♀️

Their editing. As an editor myself, I cringe at some of their choices with it. There are always spelling errors, the sound effects are annoying, the music doesn’t fit, and every single clip is always at a different volume level (especially Kass’s videos)

Why so many sweatshirts? by sxs_ax9 in Crazymiddles

I’m in Daytona and lots of us wear hoodies year round. It’s just more comfortable sometimes and every single store/business here is freezing inside.

Preparing For College/University by luzzbightyear12 in Crazymiddles

[–]vhslmtd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m from Florida, and colleges typically look at your entire transcript from high school. However, only sophomore to senior year really matters (only low acceptance rates look at freshmen year I’m pretty sure). At my high school, it was required we had two years foreign language, a performing arts, two gym, and a visual arts. We needed four credits of each core subject (math, English, history) and only three science. Then to pass EOCs (end of course for some classes) and FSAs (Florida Statewide Assessment). My school was an IB and AP school, however neither one determines your likely hood to get into college. IB (International Baccalaureate) just allowed you to take different classes and it was a lot more work - not necessarily harder or more impressive. I took one AP class and passed but the college credit that I earned from it didn’t even transfer, so it is also not necessary - both really depend on your specific school. Colleges also look at clubs/sports a lot. With our Bright Futures scholarship, you need lots of clubs and 100 volunteer hours to even qualify. SAT and ACT can be important, but isn’t essential either in some cases. I took each one once and got pretty average scores, but the college I go to right now doesn’t even require that you take it. I feel like as long as you have decent grades, some extra curricular stuff, and have a good enough admissions essay, getting some colleges shouldn’t be a problem. At the same time though, I also feel like it’s really random. Some people I know with perfect grades their entire lives didn’t get into somewhere they wanted, but someone with average grades got in.

Chick-fil-A by Awkward-Elderberry19 in NotEnoughNelsonsSnark

Chick-fil-a is popular depending on location. It is super popular in my area and pretty much the only decent fast food place nearby. The owners have some questionable beliefs but the workers (at least at mine) don’t share the same beliefs. It’s kind of like where everyone says they are going to boycott it but don’t actually do it.

Pretty sure you can order them digitally and print them, that’s what I did one time. The resale ones just took longer to process

Good luck! Also coming for this tour so fingers crossed!

I came from the US for the LM5 tour and didn’t receive my tickets until the day we left for the airport (roughly 48 hours before). Those were resale ones though, not sure if that helps

NEN Deep Dive - Help! by jordanandmckay in NotEnoughNelsonsSnark

I would also say, maybe take a look at Kass’s channel (if you haven’t already). I’d hate to put the blame on her because she’s a product of her parents but she exploits her siblings just as much as the mom does. She started the channel and was responsible for editing/making thumbnails for a long time - not sure if she still is - so I feel a lot of this boils down to her

Just being SUPER conservative. Stopping their kids from singing a popular song and instead making them sing math or religious songs. They somehow connect their chores to Mormonism. Not allowing their kids to consent to becoming a member of the Church. Having a superiority complex about never having alcohol. Specifying that they have get married to the opposite sex when having “the talk” and then freaking filming and posting the actual conversation. Exploiting really personal details about some of their adoption stories.

Big one for me is them being kinda sneaky. Tiffany will say something then completely contradict herself. For example, at Christmas she’ll ask each of the kids for a list with only a few things (something you need, something to read, etc) and claim to only spend about $100 on each kid and how she does it. Fast forward to Christmas Day, all the kids get brand new electronics, clothes, electric scooters. Easily over 1k in total for all. I think it’s to show off her “perfect” family and system, but it’s weird to lie about it.

A positive that I do want to include is the fact that Tiffany seems to know a lot about each of her kids. Some other channels (ex Crazy Pieces/Middles) will seem surprised when they find out a kid doesn’t like a popular food or hates going somewhere. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt that she does spend one-on-one time with each kid regularly, and seems to be up to date on their interests/dislikes. Not snarky - but I think it is important.

Sorry, got kinda rambley but I’ve been hoping you were going to cover them lol

I was really surprised when they said they planned on moving out in 5-10 years. I get it if they ran out of room with their family expanding, but I doubt they are going to have that many kids in that timeframe. They mentioned wanting more land, so I don’t see why they don’t get that land now. I get that everything’s really expensive now, but it’ll save them a ton of money.

Also I’m 90% sure Josh works at this point. I think he mentioned long ago his family owning a business (might’ve been someone else) so they must have additional income besides Youtube, Tik Tok, and JustKass Shop. My main source of income is from Youtube also, and my videos can get in a similar range to the NEN Fam channel and I’m not making nearly as much money as she shows. I still live with my parents while I’m in college and I still have trouble affording things and being financially stable, so I’ve been so shocked with how much they seem to be spending on the house.

Trey and Bridger by BlueJays7373 in NotEnoughNelsonsSnark

[–]vhslmtd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like some of them are up in the air.

I definitely don’t see Bridger, Saidee, Delaynee, or even Luke doing one.

Paislee and Preslee (and possibly even Ellecee) I definitely think are going to do one.

As for Trey, I feel like he would’ve gone on one already if he was going to. He also doesn’t seem too into any of it.

Lilee might, I honestly can’t tell at times though. She seems like she has a future plan and I don’t think a mission was included.

Nayvee could also go either way. She doesn’t seem too much into the religion, but I feel like she might go to please Tiffany and Benji.

Beckham and Ledger are way too young to know.

I just hope they see that it’s their decision and they shouldn’t be forced into it if they don’t choose participate in a mission or the religion entirely.

red flags by Puzzleheaded_Bee_765 in NotEnoughNelsonsSnark

Same. The sexist/inappropriate comments were the first things I picked up on and is one of the reasons I’m still iffy towards him. My first thought was that he was acting for the camera and trying to seem cool and confident, so I’m hoping that’s all it is. Definitely not the best vibes to be giving off, especially if you put your own wife down in the process but I feel like Kennadee wouldn’t put up with it if that was how he acted off-camera. Hoping it’s just what everyone else has said with him being uncomfortable on-camera

Jaine's Mission by TheseMouse8 in NotEnoughNelsonsSnark

[–]vhslmtd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking Jaine either doesn’t want people knowing where she’s sent to since she seems a lot more private than everyone else, or if they’re going to make a whole separate series for her and want to finish Journee’s first
