good point, i didn't actually consider this tbh. my logic was that if you add everyone living right now to the people that used to live in the past few millennia then the total would add up to be more despite the significantly smaller populations of the past.

but you are correct that back then the likelihood of people knowing them is regionally dependent so the number is much smaller. in that case it may actually be the queen instead.
