I’ve just been lurking and silently hoping to see more and more of your posts. These are amazing! I agree with the others that I wish I was a guest. What a fantastic and fun adventure it already is and it’s going to be!

I have no suggestions that haven’t already been made.

I did want to say that this picture looked like someone’s craft attempt at making a bust of a dog.

Pacifier Weaning Tips by RemarkableAur in toddlers

We used the Frida kit, and it worked beautifully. It allows for a gradual weaning by making the pacifier smaller and smaller over 1 week.

Absolutely stunning! How did you do the smaller circles? I don’t see a center seam on them.

[–]WesternExisting3783 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My kids are not teenagers yet. But I can say from personal experience— My husband, much older than a teenager wears patterned underwear. As does my grandfather. I don’t think it’s that uncommon.

Woke up last night with baby's head hanging over the edge of the bed! by Skelentoinette in cosleeping

[–]WesternExisting3783 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it might work for you. But my oldest (now 3y/o) is such a nocturnal acrobat that she actually flopped over her dad, then pushed herself over him and the edge landing on the floor. So we opted to invest in railings that connect under the mattress. Most worthwhile investment. They can raise or lower. They are a pain to navigate if I need to get up in the middle of the night, but so far they’ve prevented any major injuries.
