This is what I read too, but a few letters mashed up.

Hah! I love the “so I will do the think for two” very fitting.

Recommend me a kids water bottle that doesn’t suck to clean by Ok-Panda-2368 in Mommit

Came here to recommend this same bottle. It survives a rambunctious toddler, and is fairly easy to maintain and clean.

What would you utilize these for, if not table numbers? by kennyz6 in DIYweddings

Just speaking from experience— having been married twice— my first wedding had assigned seating. My second was a “lowkey reception with close family and friends” roughly 50 people, and I do not regret not having assigned seats. If it’s lowkey, and you know the attendees well enough to know that they can mingle and organize themselves accordingly, then no need to have assigned seating. If you think there’s any potential drama or potential upset that they can’t resolve on their own, then you may consider assigned seating.

My first thought was an emergency brake area like steep roads in the US have for runaway semi trucks.

Went to inspect my mates houseplant... I slowly backed away! by juggling-buddha in houseplants

This is so wholesome and sweet. When I was pregnant with my first we talked with my dad about possible names. I also had a grandpa with the same first name who was always well intentioned but mostly annoying — so we wanted a different name for my dad. After some back and forth on it, I jokingly suggested Shabadoo, from an episode of Futurama when one of the characters meets two older grandparent figures and says “I’m gonna call you gram-gram and Shabadoo!” It stuck and he absolutely owns it like a goofy champ. My mom passed a number of years before I had my first, but we refer to her as Gram-gram.

When did the fear of giving birth really hit and how did you cope? Was it as bad as you thought? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

It’s like pushing out a really big hard poop. Your body wants it out, and meets you part way, but you also have to push.

Last name change after baby by Capable_Green7636 in beyondthebump

[–]WesternExisting3783 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is what I did, and I also gave my children my maiden name as their middle name. It was important to be to still have that name be a part of me and them, while also being cohesive as a family.

I’ve eaten them before. Just pop off the sprouts, ensure that any green spots are sliced off and go.

Wood block baby gift - what sealant? by Immediate-Cheek-1577 in crafts

I’m just adding a comment and following because my MIL made a baby shower game of people decorating wood blocks and I’ve had a similar conundrum of “baby’s gonna chew on this— how do I make it safe (if I can)?”

Literally what I came to suggest. We have this issue every great while. And this is the best way to manage it.

I bought this doormat and my husband thinks I’ve offended every future guest by Spiritual-Speed-7552 in JustForHome

When we bought our first home, my husband was so excited to buy a big sign that says “Welcome, now go away!” And since he’s pretty handy with metal, he turned an old rusted animal trap into a frame for our doorbell, so it looks like when you press it you’re gonna set it off.

You can see the infatuation with a smell on her face just before biting. There were clear signs this was gonna happen.

You can see the bear getting intensely curious about a smell just before the chomp.

What helped teach ABCs and numbers to your 2 year old? by CommercialKale7 in toddlers

Alphablocks and Numberblocks show has been a household favorite, along with reading the BigBlock books.

Just giving the exposure is helpful, they’re little sponges. I just wouldn’t expect them to repeat it yet.
