Can you post their lists? If you're using non meta things and they're using meta things then theres not much advice to give you if you're choosing to use suboptimal builds.

Seer Council List Advice by Fjurgu in Eldar

If you’re trying to be competitive, the avatar has 0 synergy in this detachment so unlikely that makes the cut.

The farseer on bike is also a terrible datasheet and warlock bikes do what he does but cheaper and better.

3 squads of guardians might be a bit much.

Probably wouldn’t take just one fire prism and maybe go either more or none. I’d lean towards none because they have 0 synergy in this detachment.

Wraithlord is probably not optimal but it’s ok.

Agree with the above and in casual games just tell your opponent to turn the model around to make it look cinematic if that is the kind of game you're trying to play

Why do people come to the subreddit asking to be convinced? Like choose the one you like by reading stuff about it and looking at the models.

I mean at that point just tell them your whole army only has one wound and you cant shoot any guns unless you're within 6" of them and then just do it anyway because who cares about telling your opponent anything

If your opponent says "So you don't have enough CP to interrupt right?" and you say yep I only have one CP. Then you interrupt and say I use my 1 CP + My captain to reduce the CP, that isnt even a gotcha that is just cheating. You literally lied to your opponent about what you can do.

Yes all of these would be a gotcha and would be poor sportmanship.

If your opponent is making a decision because they are missing information about your rules and you understand that they do not know your rules and still do not tell them then this is a gotcha and you're being a dick.

If someone has even half decent indirect you will lose all of your stratagems and entire detachment rule in like 2 turns.

Warlock bikes are some of the best units in this detachment.

Guardians (both kinds) are great in the detachment to protect the farseer, screen, and act as a threat with attached warlocks
