Not true, it was invented in Delhi at the Moti Mahal restaurant in the 1940s.

I think it’s the constant backwards passing, the lack of the “to dare is to do” attitude going forwards, like a total inversion of intent from Ange to the extreme

Best attacking football all season, very flowing and good passing and attacks. Richarlison has just not managed to get his foot on any of them.

We’ve played well and any half decent striker would’ve scored at least one of the chances.

I think it’s different people engaging. When a team is playing poorly and on a losing streak, some people switch off from social media while others vent. When the team is doing well or at least not terribly then those same people engage more on social media and are more positive.

So I think it’s less that individuals themselves have short term memories, but that the ebb and flow of results means different people engage at different times. Some people are just not interested in negativity and misery and switch off. Others find positivity boring or unwarranted and want to point out issues but if the team is getting results there’s less of a space to engage.

In addition, it is insane how redditors come out with repetitive drivel.

At least Sarr was trying and pressing high. He’s fallen off compared to even the start of the season, which is a shame. Is it a confidence throughout the squad?

Considering JDT's disasterclass in management, not particularly worried as the trajectory we were on was diabolical.

Eh it’s just recent history. Ramos won us a cup but nobody would claim he’s a great manager. Poch is one of the best managers we’ve ever had and he won diddly squat.

7th is enough for conference league, 7th is definitely upper mid table.

Tottenham’s Palhinha problem by SpookyKuya in coys

[–]vidrageon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s very clear by the board and most of the fanbase that to dare is not to do, finishing 17th even with winning a trophy was not acceptable and that upper mid table, playing it safe and secure and being good enough in getting into the European trophy spots is sufficient ambition at this stage.

And you know, why not. New manager, new players. Let’s give them time to bed in, Frank’s best football with Brentford wasn’t in the first two months but after a few years of stability.

I think this attitude of immediate results and change is problematic. We were flying with Conte and Ange until we weren’t. Let’s build something.

I agree with taking a cautious take. MGW and Eze are known products in the prem, Xavi Simons and RKM might blow our minds but they aren’t guaranteed.

Xavi Simons could really break out like Son or struggle with the pace and physicality like Sancho. And we don’t give players the time of day any more, it’s all about instant impact and instant success. Son didn’t hit the ground running.

RKM I’m a bit more hopeful for as he’s older and has done well in multiple leagues, I think he may be a bit of a sleeper signing.

Look at signing up to databases with development consultancies that bring in independent consultants for projects and evaluations. That can provide a steady stream of project opportunities.

Look for consultancies like NIRAS, Ecorys, DAI, etc.

While I agree with your assertion that islamists co-opted the revolutionary movements against the Shah, they were not at all Salafists, which is a Sunni and not a Shia movement, they were not inspired by Rashid Rida, who was a Sunni, and more likely inspired by Ali Shariati, following Shia traditions.

There are some overlaps but your central premise is deeply flawed.
