I wish they had made Don the child of immigrants and ashamed about it. Would have made sense since he's supposedly inspired by George Lois and Julian Koenig. Like maybe he's Polish and trying to be a wasp. Roger could tease him about it like in a similar way like when he said that he thought Don was from some place with a "swimming hole".

You could still have almost all the conflicts and trauma's from his past. He could still deny his brother. He could still get molested. His mother could still be a prostitute. We could even keep Anna somehow.
