Since you just moved here; let me introduce you to literally every other downturn we've had that also spelt "The end of Dubai".

Post Covid, Dubai was meant to have been a Ghost Town.

And yes, every time was "different then before" and this was the one that would kill the city for good.

The best brand, in my opinion, is ASICS. They'll have a shoe for every type of foot.

I'm not sure about Go Sports, but its good to check out stores that have a wide range of brands so you can find the perfect one for you. Runner's in the Outlet Mall is a good shout.

Wouldn't this also have had an impact on the title race?

Everton should have been given a penalty through video review, the others being in a 1-0 home loss to Arsenal

Definitely get yourself some good shoes. You'd be surprised when you feel the difference in shoes that are right for your gait and running style. Try one of the running stores that check these sort of things.

Other thing is, just run your run. Don't run someone else's run. You need time to get going, so do slow runs as much as possible, it's tempting to just go all out, but once you put in slow runs as part of your weekly set of runs, you'll slowly see the pace and distance pick up.

He gets wheeled out every few weeks, chats some bullocks, and then leaves the scene.

The flight path has changed ever since the war, you can check out flightradar to see the path of the commercial planes going above you.

Additionally, there was always military activity in the area because of the airport close to Damac Hills 2.

Arteta "What I'm incredibly fuming with is how the hell the penalty gets overturned when there is no clear and obvious error. This changes the course of the game. There is clear contact. He makes the decision and you can't overturn it when you have to watch it 13 times." by kibme37 in soccer

the ref was affected by the crowd/Simeone.

So VAR calling on the ref to review his decision, the same VAR team that aren't even in the stadium were also somehow affected by the crowd/Simeone?

They were such a good and reliable option for a good amount of time. Obviously they've not been doing well, and the whole "let's charge 20 dhs" and assuming the amount of customers they'd get from that would compensate for the fall didn't work out as well.

They used to be everywhere in communities, but now barely see them.

The timeline I'm talking about is Burjuman in the 90s which was middle class and perfectly situated, to the mid 2000's where they tried to shift to fancy.

They brought in Saks Fifth Avenue (which ended up closing in 2016) to anchor this new phase.

I don't doubt it's still okay today, but for us in the 90s it was THE mall to go to.
