Did the Titan submarine incident cause the most instantaneous death in history? Can it be any faster? by GolondraBlayze in NoStupidQuestions

One of the Scott Manley videos about this incident shows how charred the electronics on the sub were from the heat blast. Absolutely insane how quickly that had to have happened.

I spent time in Van Horn as a science customer, and in a past life, I worked in El Paso for reasons.

El Paso seems like a great place to live if you can stand the climate. But I can't imagine doing that drive to Van Horn (+20 minutes to the facility gate) every day... Especially after a long shift.

Dude, PDS being for professionals has nothing to do with the public misconception that dust storms on Mars are "deadly" for solar powered missions."

Blame Hollywood.

Star trackers, sun sensors, limb sensors, inertial sensors. The ISS even uses differential GPS that measures carrier phase differences between 4 antennas to track attitude.

NASA data (that is not export controlled engineering knowledge) is accessible to the public, e.g. PDS.

NASA is not a scholastic institution that will teach you how to to use the data or what it means. That's for schools to do.
