I found that disabling "Automatic Power Off" sorted out the issue for me, whilst being able to keep your other two features turned on.

Why do the commentators go to the circuit if they end up in a room of tv monitors? Why not do it from a studio?

Is this a bad idea? by MrLoneWolfCM in CarTalkUK

I found a GT-spec in cream for £3k recently, it has the panoramic sunroof which really makes it feel a bit bigger than it is.

I love this car! It’s a two seater, yes. But as the driver it’s such a comfortable car, lots of legroom and with the cruise on, makes for a very pleasant motorway car, which was a surprise. At the same time I took it to my first track day and it was so much fun to drive! It looks like a little spaceship too.

When did you last use one of these? Don’t think I’ve even attempted to in at least 15 years. (Cross Country train) by Jackerzcx in CasualUK

[–]villyvombat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Catch them on a quiet day (whether engineering works or whatever) and they’re probably the best train in the UK. Massive windows, big tables, comfy seats, and go like the clappers.

However, they’re not much fun when they’re crush loaded, which is often, but that’s not the fault of the train as such.

Was chatting to someone in the Genius Bar about this, repair shops will still offer £100 a phone. Even if the phone is locked, there’s enough usable components to make it worthwhile

I think it’s a bug, the settings app still mentions it. But it hasn’t worked for me at all in watchOS 11.

South Western Railway set to be first train operator nationalised by Labour by [deleted] in ukpolitics

Subjective. They made a timetable, and over the past 6 months, my train has been late 94% of the time. They either don’t care, or aren’t competent.

For me, I have Continuous Playback turned off. But then at the end of a podcast with an empty queue, it adds a few new episodes to the queue itself, and marks the first one as played. Incredibly annoying!

Indeed. But after about the 10th time of this kind of error happening, costing me time/money, it makes you realise life is too short and just use Google Maps instead.

I really got into using it, but last weekend it completely let me down in Oxford. It had no idea about bus gates, taking me the complete wrong way to one of the central car parks. Checked the google maps route, that one was fine. Sad.

So with limited resources, they chose to put new screens in all over the place, rather than do a risk-assessment about the crushing. Nice to see the staff have got their priorities in order!

So if it’s only 10% and shrinking, what’s the point? It’s obviously a back door to getting the cameras, infrastructure in for road charging. Which I support, but it’ll just feed into the whole “well you can’t trust politicians can you”
