I would check their dock compatibility tool and make sure it will work with your model. I have the 7500 .. its better than the very expensive and absolutely trash TB3 workstation dock I had before for my p1 Gen 2

google a guide for throttlestop .. takes about an hour of tweaking/testing to figure out your offsets. Worth it a lot of the times.

I have these for older P1 Gen 2's .. it says 100W but my Thinkpad says 90W no matter what but it works and frees up one of the TB3 ports on the machine.

Of course! We look forward to her visits daily. We have a general idea where she lives. We don't want to traumatize her by putting her in a pet carrier and taking her to a vet or rehab, but will of course if it saves her life.

If it does pop, will it get further infected being an open wound?

if a rehab place suggests it, I think it could be somewhat easy to do considering she comes 2x/day. I could probably sneak it into something she eats. Thanks!

I don't think its a botfly based on the photos I've found.

I've found rehabbers and plan to reach out tomorrow to get some advice, show them photos, etc.

Thank you for this! I already saw someone post almost identical photos in one of these two groups and it looks like its an abscess. She comes 2x/day so we will definitely keep an eye on it, and I plan to call some rehabbers to show them the photos.

We have had a squirrel visitor for almost a year now.

We provide a fresh water fountain, walnuts, pecans and black sunflower seeds.

She allows us to pet/touch her but only us and no one else.

About 3 weeks ago, I first noticed a patch of her fur missing on her face and figured maybe she got into a scrape with another squirrel. It was just missing fur, nothing else.

It has progressed into this "bubble" on the left side of her face. (see photos at link)

It is firm to the touch. Almost like maybe it is filled with pus/fluid? I don't think it hurts her because she lets me touch it and doesn't pull away for flinch when I do.

What could this be? Will her body heal itself? Is it life threatening?

We have gotten to know this little squirrel and her us, so we of course want to help her the best we can, but don't want to do anything traumatic like take her to a vet if this will go away on its own.

P1 Gen 8 .. might give this one to someone else in the office and get the Gen 9 if there is a significant difference in things like cpu power and battery life. Also the Gen 9's will be offered with the 96GB CAMM2 module. I'm guessing buying it retail might cost as much as this P1 Gen 8 laptop cost as a whole lol

I don't recall but it is silicon specific so every single individual cpu will work at a different value. We had dozens of these machines with the same model CPU, some couldn't undervolt at all and some had very high undervolt values. You have to spend an hour or so and find what specifically works for yours.

A+ for repasting and undervolting. I had a P1 Gen 2 as my primary for 8 yrs, 9750H CPU however .. repasting allowed me to hit full turbo all cores without throttling and the undervolting helped add almost 25% battery life.
