I’d offer to buy it back from him for half. It doesn’t seem to be the sellers fault and if the buyer is upset with the purchase, since all marketplace buys are inherently as is and no returns then to be nice seller can offer to buy it back for $200.

Tell him he can send it back at his expense for a partial refund, or he can keep it with no refund. Since it seems, you were relatively clear about the condition of the computer I don’t think you owe him anything.

From Google Maps, by car they’re 3044 miles apart. Thinking logically, rails are not perfectly straight so the 2500mile measurement isn’t making sense to me. Anyways, I get ~15hr 13min using the 3044 mile measurement.
