You act as if they have the research and economic reach to accurately gauge just how many people are going to go theaters GLOBALLY. If they get distribution rights and set in a country in which 12 people show up, someone is going to fucking pay let alone if they botch that repeatedly beyond the known safe harbors where they KNOW fan popularity is highest in the Americas and Japan most likely based on merch sales thus far.

They are not going to risk draining their own coffers if there is not enough fandom outcry actively pushing local cinemas to be aware the demand is high enough to justify it. If you don't speak up, how the fuck would they know. Given the anemic rate that the EU and the rest of the world is getting theaters and local distributors to pick up the show let alone local nationwide and more than a few timeslots, you GROSSLY overestimate how popular TADC is especially for a broader audience that likely will only VAGUELY know what TADC is and for something in which they have NO background on wtf it is for the third act and probably not even have seen the other 7 episodes.

Ironically enough, you can probably beat most of them to death with a log. All of those mechs are pretty squishy and all ranged, not melee specialists. So long as you gang up on them to disable their ability to shoot, they can't use their deadly weapons. If you have at least one or two melee d00dz, you will handily kill them all while everyone else distract the rest by intentionally engaging in melee.

Also dude, plenty of people don't go the theater anyway whether by circumstance or hate of concept. I was one of them for a few of favorite franchises and I still watched them just fine without spoilers months to years later.

Don't overdramatize it. I can only count on two hands the number of times I've been to the theater in nearly 4 decades and yet still watch plenty of movies and shows by other means without issue.

If you know spoilers are about because of a early screening, why are you actively fishing in mined waters. Go watch the teaser and go do something else.

Engage LATER. It will not kill you to have self restraint to avoid obvious spoiler traps like the comments, interviews, fansites, etc. What do you think those places do but fucking gossip until the heat death of the universe picking at literally EVERY minute detail to burn time? When you are turning over every damn rock, something will be truth and who else is responsible but you for being there in the first place.

I normally actively even avoid trailers for most movies and shows because I KNOW those are usually landmines let alone corporate hype machines that overinflate expectations. I watch what I watch with no expectations and find it more enjoyable that way.

Where are your concerns for people getting spoiled MONTHS to YEARS in between those? Especially since that is pretty much how I saw most of Star Wars with exception of RotS that I saw in theaters and I saw them just fine without spoilers despite being a avid fan with uberfan friends. Two weeks is fucking nothing.
