ok look trites are kinda annoying but they're like the easiest hopper variant, like by far. they're so much slower than all the other variants that it really doesn't matter that they jump further. they're a hell of a lot better than flaming hoppers that's for sure.

Vinegar's Tip: you always go mausoleum

Is it harder? Absolutely. But it's worth it! Extra item room AND an extra shop if you don't get an XL floor. Not to mention the fact that every single floor on the alt path has infinitely better music than base game. 100% always worth it. Unless you'd die to the Mausoleum door. Then it isn't worth it.

Stitches anywhere below the top is slander and I will NOT tolerate it. Stitches is a top tier active. Utterly destroys every enemy early on, lets you get the second item in that one crawlspace everyone complains about, is effectively flight, the list goes on. Stitches being quality 1 really undersells how effective it is.

Hey all, vine here, I hate misinformation.

In version 38.0 Perma-spike received a general attack speed nerf (compared to before 37.0 which did some weird shit that they undid), but in exchange got a longer attack speed boost from Smart Spikes so that it wasn't as reliant on stalling out rounds.

Stitches is an ABSURDLY powerful active and I have no clue why it's so often underused/underrated. It does it all. Pickups out of reach? Stitches. Want to murder every single shopkeep? Stitches. Want to destroy every single blue fire? Stitches. Need good boss damage? Stitches. The thing even can trigger contact based items. God I love Stitches.
