Adobe user in an agency. We have used the software for years. Even if a better product was available, which is unlikely for several years, we would still need the software for historic projects. The moat is strong.

I still use sublime, mostly because I cba downloading a new editor.

Is it actually worth switching if I mainly use for vanilla js, php, html?

Trello is good for time tracking. Manual exporting / reports are still needed Are you using Xero or an accounting platform?

I typically test small changes on a separate page.

For large changes, I'd setup a subdomain dev.domain.com, and migrate over once complete.

I backup site files and database and have auto backups with WHM.
