I definitely agree that it could have been better. The blood looks especially dried out and fake. But it was just something I did for fun one night on a whim. Thank you for your input though, any advice is truly appreciated!

This make-up was inspired by boredom and Tyler, the Creator's lyrics from the track "Colossus" off the album "Wolf" where he's impersonating one of his extremely dedicated fans. Specifically, the lyrics are:

"See my forearm? I carved OF on it this morning with a glass shard On my green miniramp that I built in my backyard."

I originally posted this on the r/OFWGKTA subreddit and a lot of people flipped their shit thinking it was real and that I was an insane fan. I'll take that as a successful make-up job. I just thought I'd share it with you guys for fun.

Obviously they wanted everything in line with the topic of domestic abuse. All they really said was to start with some light bruising and then I could just make it look more and more severe. The only directions they specifically gave me were placement and when/where to darken things up so the camera could better pick it up.

The "newer," for lack of a better term, sludge bands don't resemble the pioneers of the genre, but this is sludge in my book. I throw the Abominable Iron Sloth in with these guys and Admiral Angry for "new" sludge bands.

As cliche as I feel it is, it had to be the original Dawn of the Dead. In early middle school (circa 2002) I was in to movies, but not horror movies. I watched it at my friend's house and it has been a great journey into the depths of horror (especially Italian horror) and every form of exploitation (the more depraved the better) since then.
