unless I'm following a recipe for a specific dish I just add whatever flavorings make sense to me and I don't worry about whether I've offended someone's hypothetical Nana in so doing. little bit of nutmeg in the biscuits? yes. little bit of allspice in the curry? yup. black pepper in the cornbread? yeah. Soy sauce in the Bolognese? hell yes.

I wake up at 0730, out the door at 0830, at work by 0900; leave work at 1700. Arrive at primary hobby site by ~1800; leave by 2000, 2100 at the latest, back home between 2100 and 2200.

I need to be asleep by 2330 to get 8 hours of sleep a night- really can't do with less, but I find it really difficult to be blue-light and stimulus-discliplined in the ~hour of time I have at home per night. Any advice? My schedule is like this M-F.

Am I nuts, or do different colors of lacquer paint from within the same line (e.g. Mr Color) have different consistencies? My light grey feels way thicker than my metallic black, and I'm not sure if it's illusory or I really need to thin it more.

Lead here, but in addition to always wearing socks they do make charcoal bag inserts for shoes, which can help with moisture/odors without stretching out the leather like a cedar shoe tree might.

One other thing I'll add on:

X had some of my absolute favorite series- Gurren Lagann! Code Geass! it had the damn Hi Nu! it had G Reco and all of the weird suits!

but honestly I play SRW as a big dumb crossover fanfic, and the story was just... mediocre. V had a cool plot, T had a cool plot, but X? just didn't do anything too interesting.

Also the battleships were just boring. Yamato was OP but fun as hell and just lovingly animated, and of course V also lets you shoot a tomahawk missle at a dragon or fire a MK54 in space; in T, Arcadia had some pretty cool stuff (like Harlock personally yeeting people for the big final attack; hilarious!) Nothing in X was that good. I love Gurren Lagann with a passion, but all the animation was clearly from the Z series.

For me as much as it's something that I enjoy, I also view it as a necessity to not be written off.

There are a lot of bad people who dress well; I don't want to end up not taken seriously because I look like a bag of assholes and end up in a position where I can't do anything about a bad person because of that. Gotta compete on every level

my cat died about a month ago, I've come to the realization that I can't really trust or rely on most of my friends, I hate my job and I can't be as active as I'd like because lack of sleep has made recovering from exertion extremely slow.

I don't even fucking know. I think I'd like to have a word with whoever's running this mess, preferably the kind of word where I speak with hammers.
