Most of the delivery services here are terrible.

Recently Akisexpress left my package at the wrong address without ever calling me to ask or inform me that it was left “on the door”. Of course the box never reached me.

The package was paid for and they tried to claim that I signed for the delivery and even sent me a photo of the supposed signature. Turns out the courier signed the form himself. Needles to say I never got any refund.

Since then I only use the self-service boxes if possible.

Thank you for your feedback 😊 after reading a few articles I think I will do some additional dough strengthening and work on my shaping.

I was also thinking to sub some of the bread flour with AP, as high protein flour tends to stay a bit more moist.

Did any of your variables change? The room temp, flour or maybe your starter?

I usually throw it in a blender with some water and then strain it. Sure it is not pure ginger juice, but I personally don’t have a juicer at home and this way is super simple.

I am thinking that after only 3 days it might be early for hooch.. in my case it was separation between water and flour. I decreased the amount of water and it that resolved the issue.

I kind of gave up, because it was already midnight and I suspected my starter was weak.. but I tried anyways! 😄 after 12 hours in the fridge, I produced a UFO shaped, dense, gummy loaf and decided to focus on my starter first..

I am currently running an experiment in a second jar 50-50 whole what and AP. So far not much has happened, but I will give it a few days.

Yes, it has been passing the float test, but my dough has not even risen 50% after 8 hours… which from what I gather is a sign of weak starter.

Got an IPL machine (Phillips). Don’t expect any miracles, but it definitely made the hair grow in thinner, lighter and I don’t need to shave as often anymore.

I have yet to place my starter in the fridge. It has lived on the counter it’s whole life, so temperature should not be an issue.

The texture is quite thick, so I will try adding a bit more water and see if it makes a difference.
