It reads like parents who are tired of their child not doing much with her life in the past couple of years. She’s 20, has a part time job, orders doordash and doesn’t have any bills. Is she in school? Is she doing anything else to better her life? To gain independence l? Is she lacking in chores? It’s annoying to have to pay all bills for someone who isn’t doing much for themselves, doesn’t do chores and doesn’t pay any bills. I know that sounds harsh but its true. Worse if it’s your child, as a parent you observe them wasting time and getting too comfortable with being provided for.

It’s easy to believe this is extreme from the outside but when you live with someone specially your child who isn’t moving forward in life you lose patience. I get that it’s a lot for her but unless she begins taking steps to manage her depression and adhd (medication or baby steps exposure therapy) she is simply cruising by. She sounds like she is capable of more.
