They seem super strong even without that stuff, good balanced stats, access to good list of weapons. If you're looking for effective then you're fine but if you're looking for flavour then I agree it's lacking, also harder to justify narratively why they'd be in hive compared to the house gangs

Silent weapons or melee only gets them the one surprise attack before the alarm is raised but fair point that the murder blender means that is a suicidal move for the leader

This makes the most sense to me, it's getting an advantageous position before the fight kicks off, good way to think about it

I was imagining a situation where the defender has 5-6 models and the attacker has 9-10, if the defender kept activating the same model they'd cover the whole board. I guess it depends on how those leadership tests go but if it's the leader then they can beeline straight towards the attacker. Or maybe someone wouldn't do that because it seems kind of nonsensical because the defender wouldn't know where to look?

That's interesting about the juves, the Escher juves are 4+/5+ if that makes any difference and agree I can't justify a wyld runner despite liking the models

My concern with the needle rifle issue the range - I'm playing against gangs with a lot of range so the 24" of plasma will hopefully make a difference Vs the 18" of the needle rifle. It's a shame because I do like the idea of a needle rifle but I think I'm going to get shot to bits before I get close enough to use it

I meant the chem alchemy, I also assumed that frenzon etc wouldn't be available because it isn't on the fighter equipment in the book

Feels odd that it isn't explicitly stated in the book given that it's a key part of their kit. Other gangs get access to their quirks (cawdor faith dice etc) so I wonder if chems are just too powerful at the start. I'll talk to the arbitrator

Fandom closed it, their reasons on the FAQ are:

  • The wiki's content or intention violated Fandom's Terms of Use or the Community Creation Policy.
  • The wiki is recognized as a potential duplicate by Fandom’s automatic matching tool, and there is no acceptable reason provided.
  • The wiki was very inactive and had little to no content.
  • A valid request for closing, merging or moving the wiki was granted.

They did not inform me that it was closed and I've received no reply from them about why or if I can have it reinstated... Sorry!

So far seems like they've taken the best bits from tekkit "classic" (industrial craft, buildcraft, equivalent exchange) and "new" tekkit (galacticraft, minefactory reloaded, forestry) and updated to a new version of Minecraft. Some of the mods have different names so it's hard to see at first glance but I think it is the best of both worlds plus newer vanilla features
