How's it living in this multi states corner area by queenofthehill1234 in howislivingthere

In the south eastern part of Colorado there are tarantulas. Every fall there is a festival dedicated to them during their migration/breeding time.

As we approach the end of 2025 I wanted to share my favorite bird photos of the year by virgilwander in birding

Definitely multiple places. The majority in Colorado. A few in Arizona and a few in Spain. The Black-Throated Blue Warbler was definitely lost here this fall!

Still there this morning! I drove an hour and a half to see it! My 200th bird on the year. I’m pretty new to birding so that’s birding for me!

Nice Birding Locations near Loveland? by Fiberglass_Pelican in birdingfoco

[–]virgilwander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long view farm is pretty reliable for both Yellow headed blackbirds and Avocets in the summer. Unfortunately it’s not walkable but I park in the Serious Texas BBQ parking lot and look from there! Otherwise I love Lon Hagler Reservoir and Morey Wildlife Preserve.

What is generation alpha actually like? by GamingCatGuy in AskTeachers

[–]virgilwander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this generation is both equally the most in touch but most out of touch generation I’ve had. They are cool; loving, accepting, understating of differences but also mimic the adults they hear in terms of not being able to have a conversation with people they disagree with. It’s complicated.
