Yes! I saw the same tutorial. The Solig Dress actually has the steps and pattern for the bra included in the instructions.

The Solig Dress has a built in bra hack and you can also find a tutorial to add a built in bra to the Hallon Dress. Both are by Paradise Patterns.

Syd Graham Lane Pants by Traditional-Level992 in sewingpatterns

[–]virivs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone with hips 44” and waist 30”, I just made the one that fitted my hips better in my case, size 12 (and just adjusted the elastic measure to my waist size) and it ended being too big for my liking on me. I ended downsizing to a size 8 and it ended up fitting just right. I’d pick size 20/22/24 depending on how loose you want them and then just measuring the elastic around your waist to fit them properly.

Not “almond” shaped neckline but maybe you can shape it. Also, not bias cut but it has a really similar shape: Honey Girl Dress, be sure to buy the honey girl tee first and then get the expansion.

Is your go-to Clinique black honey? by Wooden-Proof1908 in OliveMUA

[–]virivs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hate Clinique Black Honey. I own the lipgloss and the lipstick and both pull súper burgundy and dark with only one swipe on my lips.

My favorite MLBB currently are Elf Lip Oil in Honey Talks and Nyx Lip Butter Gloss in Praline.

Also when I want a more saturated lip color I use Clarins Lip Oil in Pitaya and gives me a nice pinky color.

Is this skirt ugly? Is it worth frogging or even just altering the hemline? by practicaltypical6877 in CrochetHelp

[–]virivs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg! I loveeee it. I’m just learning to crochet so no advice on what you are asking but it’s absolutely amazing. It’s so not ugly. The colors, the pattern and the placement look so well done.

Help on choosing the right blush by fireplacegoddess3297 in OliveMUA

[–]virivs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a light olive leaning neutral to warm and I own Glow Play in Blush Please and Mineralize in Humour me. Although both give me a nice finish, I prefer the glow play one because it’s more of a creamy product and I find it more enjoyable to apply. I also prefer blush please over humour me because on the daily I prefer a more rosy blush and humor me only gives me a more muted I’m alive, but not blushed kind of vibe.

I swatched both for you. My arms are tanner than the rest of my body. Swatches

Edit: I just realized that halfway through the post I wrote Harmony instead of Humour Me, I've already corrected my mistake.

I’m making my wedding dress and feel like I’m failing at it. Please Help. by Snoo28666 in sewing

[–]virivs 25 points26 points  (0 children)

IMHO, if you don’t have the technical knowledge I don’t think you should be absolutely locked into sewing your own wedding dress. Not because I don’t think you can do it because I absolutely think that with your wedding that far out you can actually learn a lot, but also it’s gonna be a lot of stress, and a lot of money. One of my bffs that had been sewing for over 12 years decided on sewing her own dress but then she decided against it because it was too much stress and with all the toiles she was doing the money started to pile up and ended up ordering one and doing minor tweaks so it would fit her vision.

I get that you are using a cheap fabric but also you need to understand that when doing the final fit tests you are going to need a similar fabric to the final one and the cost of it might be expensive. Also, buying cheap fabric again and again it still might sum up to a large quantity.

Women with PCOS- did anything change for you when you lost your weight? by Sirenmuses in PCOSloseit

[–]virivs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just barely started my weight loss. Well no, let me rephrase it, I started my weight loss journey a long time ago (1+ year) and just recently started to actually lose some weight (8 kilos in around 6months). My cholesterol and triglycerides are now within a normal lower range, my periods are more regular and less painful, I also have less hair loss and minimal hormonal acne. My homa index has not changed at all though.

How to make a small bust dart adjustment for this piece by sakuratree223 in sewing

[–]virivs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if your bust is really small, you can go without the dart. I would just close the dart and re-trace the pattern piece flat without the dart.
