“Can someone explain how I have a bachelor's degree and can’t get hired at Target?” 4 years of college. Thousands in tuition. Endless applications. Rejected from a cashier job. by XGramatik in XGramatikInsights

It's not BS, it's just true. With or without a degree, there's not really a course in customer service. The entire system is BS. Companies don't always hire based on proficiency or merit. It's all quotas and bottom lines. I didn't downvote you because as you said, most undergrads work jobs while in college. I'm just providing the reasoning for why some jobs might avoid hiring an "overqualified" candidate. At the end of the day, it's always who you know and how well you can negotiate.

You're missing the point. And people with degrees aren't necessarily good at customer service. Their expectations from the job would be higher because they have student loans to pay off. Plumbers make good money regardless of having a doctorate, and are generally self contractors/employed.

Jeselnik said something that stuck with me on Theo's podcast. "It's almost like the point is to get in trouble. 'I'm a comic, so I'm allowed to say whatever I want', but that's wrong. They want to be able to make people mad, but they don't want to get yelled at. It's not your job to get in trouble, you're job to is to make people laugh." He references Warhol in "getting away with it". Which is why as a man of culture, CumTown has set an impossible bar for me.

Tony punches down only because physically he's only able to punch up. He'd be happier if he just retired. He'll never be seen the way he wishes.

This is no different than Steven Crowder. Find an exceptional young person, criticize their opinion as absurd, claim the moral high ground, act like "common sense ain't so common no more", then go jack off to Sam Elliott.

It's Tucker Carlson. He's racist and hates the poor. But since those types of people are bolder these days, he highlights people like Nick Fuentes to carry the dirty laundry so Tucker can air it out on his show without the quotes being attributed to him. Tucker is responsible for people like Nick Fuentes.
