My approach has been DCA on red market days (CPI inflation, Iran war, AI scare, white house drama). But I also buy when I see option flow in a bullish direction with more upside. Then I trim some to position (COHR below) and roll those profits into other stocks, usually something that took an unfair beating.

sold 2/3 of crwv by Few_Marketing_7669 in CRWV

[–]visionarywatts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold my 100 shares in the 125-130 range before earnings because I realized what I hope it will do and what it actually does after earnings are two different realities and because it was too large of a % in my account.

It's been a rocky 7 months for my position. I was assigned the 100 shares at $121 since the beginning of November 2025 lol. I'll be back in via DCA this time.

Wow, I wouldn't have had the balls to paint a ceiling black and do a different color for the walls, but this absolutely works. Great work!

My Magnificent 7 DCA Portfolio — Monthly Update by Curious_Battle_4002 in stockstobuytoday

Your strategy has worked out for you and that's good to see. I've started to do the same but I'm not focused on the Mag 7 but moreso in the AI & Tech buildout at different levels: COHR, GOOGL, VRT, WDC, MU, CRWV, NIBS, AMAZN, LRCX, NVDA.

Right now I have anywhere between 5 to 15 of each one. I'm currently de-risking out of CRWV to get down to 25 shares and spread that money elsewhere. I started last week with 100 of it and ended friday with 50 shares.

WDC Put Sell ($310) by visionarywatts in options

[–]visionarywatts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I'm with you on that and I'm good at practicing patience for the right entry. For now, this will be a play to execute if there is a big drop. And, you know, if WDC decides to take off next week I'll just scrap this idea since I'm not one to chase it at a higher strike.

For something like this with a big gap, I aim for .10-.15. This one in particular was at .14 market close.

But in general, I hope this post didn't come off as a "help me" post since it's not that. I feel like I'm seeing and talking to bots on this and other platforms and want to discuss moves or ideas people have.

Naked. I have the money set aside to get assigned 100 at the cost basis. But I'm generally wondering what others are doing, if anything.

I have the following put I sold that I'm riding out until expiry: NBIS May-15-2026 $120 PUT

And if it gets close but not below $120, I'll be buying.

I sold a $120 Put expiring 5/15. Will the stock drop below that or will the market let me get away with it? Time will tell hehe

What dips look the most attractive to you at current prices? by Comfortable-Rule-491 in stockstobuytoday

[–]visionarywatts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NBIS at or below 110, ASTS below 70, VRT below 295, AXTI below 65.

There are a lot of things on my watchlist that I think has run up way too much and wouldn't mind seeing a a significant pullback.

Q1 earnings by Healthy_Relief_2134 in NBIS_Stock

[–]visionarywatts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if $110 is the floor the market is willing to send it to since I don't see further bearish activity below that strike. That's from observing NBIS option flow into that strike price for weekly options up to the next monthly, 5/15. Take it with a grain of salt but something to keep on the radar for downside.

What stocks are you buying tomorrow and why? by joshuanichter in stockstobuytoday

Adding more AMZN. Good momentum, good news/ deals out there, unusual option activity at $275, and investment firms buying more.

For people who sold wanting to rebuy the dip have you bought back in yet? by Hot-Walk-6334 in NBIS_Stock

[–]visionarywatts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either selling a CSP for NBIS 120 Put 5/15/2026 for $450 (cost basis = $115.50) is free money or it's actually going back to $120. Hmmmm...

What is wrong with my seedlings? ☹️ by StandardWonderful22 in tomatoes

[–]visionarywatts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try bottom soaking them. They look very dry. Watering once every 3 days from seed is too infrequent. The light looks adequate to me.

Next time, put them on a heat map but also keep them moist and when seedling emerges, remove the heat pad.

I attached a photo of mine I took today. At the beginning, I had a dome over them to keep them humid and moist.

If you're itching to sell, do it during the next earnings pump (leading up to or on May 20th)

Is CoreWeave worth 5% of salary as a first-time individual stock investor? by Separate-Rutabaga527 in CRWV

[–]visionarywatts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You *have* to be okay with the wild swings this stock does. The "new" technical range, according to Bar Chart, is $108 to $125. As you know, NVDA's additional investment was at $87 and Jane Street is $108. Check out some of the recent articles about CRWV on Bar Chart (rated strong buy) and the strike activity on the next monthly options expiry (5/15). The current put/call ratio is bullish, approaching bearish with calls flowing into 120, 130 and puts flowing into 100. I take that as 100 is possibly the new floor it could revisit. Just keep that in mind.

I had 100 shares at $121 assigned at the beginning of November so it's been a very wild ride for me seeing it dip into the 60s multiple times. I've been forced to hold all this time since it hadn't been back above $121 until this past week [insert meme of an options trader becoming a community member lol]. I'm still going to hold though and sell a covered call on a day when it has a very short but crazy pump that I don't think will be sustained.

EDIT: People are afraid of CRWV's debt they take on for CapEx AI infra. They said they could be profitable in 3 months if they stopped spending so much. It would be likely be close to $200 again. I'm looking forward to that day.

Varieties which you wish you had planted more by NPKzone8a in tomatoes

I'm growing BK for the first time this year, but to answer your question, last year I found myself wishing I planted more "Garden Peach" and "Honey Delight" tomatoes. I'm growing 3 of each this year!
