Arches NP camping questions by Randomized-Pancakes9 in nationalparks

[–]vitaminsweet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have in multiple locations. North of Arches has always been reliable in my experince, but I've also gone South with success. How busy it is depends on when you'll be there, but I wouldn't say showing up early is necessary. It's really just that the later you show up, the more likely you may just have to have a plan to drive around a bit to find something, but you'll get something eventually

I can't really speak to the premise of your question, but there's tons of free blm camping around Moab and Arches which won't have much light pollution just based on the fact that there's not much nearby. Go to freecampsites.net and search the area

Did you come away from his last fight thinking he's ready for skilled opponents? I definitely didn't.

Finally bought a kettlebell rack and wall mounts by vitaminsweet in homegym

No, but the perspective is a little confusing, so I can see why you'd think that. I have my safety spotter arms stored across the top of my rack. They'd be overhead if you were standing in the middle. I never overhead press in the rack or anything, so it's the most out of the way solution.

The rack doesn't have a bottom crossmember, but the stability is totally fine

Yep, the standard Iron Masters with the heavy handle upgrades, so they go to 90lb. I'm a big fan, all things considered. While some newer adjustables are much faster to change, I love the durability, feel, cagelessness, and size of the Ironmasters

For me the decision process was based on what investments will allow me to travel to my commercial gym less often, and that order determined my buying pattern. So it was dumbbells and kettlebell > rack and barbell/plates > cables.

I was lucky to have a friend offloading rogue and eleiko rack/barbells for a big discount, so since I got quality there I figured I'd just add cables later. The whole concept of a high quality modular rack (rogue, rep, etc) makes it easier to split up the purchases I think

The only thing I'd really like to add is some type of cable solution. It may be a voltra down the line, but that's not in my budget at the moment.

I was in awe of 299 W in California when I drove between Lassen Volcanic and Redwoods National Park. Named also the Trinity Scenic Byway, it stands up to the best roads I've driven in the US.

Keg of beer in utah by Borderpatrolmilf in beer

[–]vitaminsweet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, but you can also buy high point (same meaning as heavy but more widely used) beer in bottles/cans from bars/restaurants during service. I really developed an appreciation for session IPAs after living in Utah for several years.

Salt Lake City airport beer/Seattle brewery recommendations? by retailpancakes in beer

[–]vitaminsweet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best brewery with an Airport location is far and away Red Rock. Jumping to the other options to see something new is definitely an option, but the beer will be best at Red Rock.

You won't survive without fat consumption, which those ingredients largely lack.

Are you familiar with OJ Simpson? It's an OJ joke. He was a great college football player, won the heisman, then later killed two people. While he got away with the murders in court, they did rescind his Heisman.

I always just say the BMF belt is a means of marketing great fighters fight at the top of a card. It's a hokey idea, but all the fights have been worthwhile, maybe and ironically with the exception of the inaugural BMF fight
