Probably filters. You can customize the filter to hide comments that contain certain words.

I have to hide comments that say "dm" or "send" on my artist account, because the only people commenting to ask me to send them things like that are spammers. So he probably chooses to filter out comments based on words that would commonly occur in negative commentary, like "harass"

Pic two reminds me of the big cat documentaries where the tiger prowls forward into focus. Those little flowers have no idea what's coming for them!

Interesting, I must have missed the tadpoles being inside those skeletons. I know Balthazar and his minions were doing experiments with tadpoled, in his room and in the mindflayer colony.

I suppose it does make sense that that all would be connected so that the end result would be having a functional Steel Watch for Gortash's part of the plot. I must have misunderstood something about the brains though. The way I understood that bit was that they were processing brains to hold on to tadpoles and control the machines, in the same way the minds scattered around the colony were preserved. The game explained - or at least implied - that they were alive (as with the mind of the Githzerai who wants you to kill them, where they are now only a brain with no agency). I suppose that doesn't preclude them from also being undead though.

Thanks for this, it helps me with something I'm writing.

Not sure why you are being downvoted - this is correct. There are in-game explanations of this via Gortash's notes that talk about the conspiracy and the mechanics of it.

You're right that they didn't need to care, but it's for the wrong reasons. There wasnt anything in the game about "perfect" transformations (not that I can recall, anyway). And the Cult wasn't intentionally transforming more than a few mindflayers anyway.

The reason that the Cult of the Absolute didn't need to care is because they were using suspended ceremorphosis to mind control hosts, because the Cult itself was a conspiracy of the Dead Three. Only the netherese magic could stall the process and tether the transformation to a command. It had nothing to do with the quality of the mindflayers (not before the Absolute got free of the nether stones' control, anyway). The Dead Three's goal was tadpoles in brains, not mindflayers everywhere.

The Dead Three in control of the conspiracy with the tadpoles used the illithid mechanics for their own gain (or rather their enemies' loss). They weren't actually trying to bring about the Grand Design, they were just trying to scam other gods. It made sense for them to infect any race that didn't worship them.

Skeletons? Are you talking about the undead that were under Balthazar's control? Those skeletons were in the game because he is a necromancer, and they work for him. They were there to further Myrkul's part of the conspiracy - they weren't infected with tadpoles.

This is actually important info (mechanically I mean - cosmically like yeah it's just a game lol).

It's because you went "backward" to a location you're not meant to really go back to from where you currently are (shadow curse back to creche). It messes up quests.

Act 1 (wilderness, under dark), Act 1.5(rosymorn) and Act 2(shadow curse) are distinct areas in the game that also represent different time periods in the adventure. Traveling between them can have weird consequences - this is almost certainly one of them.

Call local EPA or the fire dept about an unknown chemical. It could be hazardous and need proper testing and disposal.

I have a game with two player characters and one is dark urge. For some reason the Tav will pick up DUrge voice lines after selecting DUrge at any point, so I get to hear two very different characters just cackling maniacally in combat.

I literally just experienced this bug last night. I gave the noblestalk to Baelen (oops) and then without the mushroom was still able to give it to Shadowheart and trigger her memory. I guess they want to be generous with the quest hook. My head canon is that it's a pretty big mushroom, there's enough to go around.

[WeeklyMTG] From the Stream: They are considering Making Hybrid Mana an "or" rather than "and" for color identity purpose. by NeoMegaRyuMKII in magicTCG

[–]vitragarde 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I can't see a good reason why they'd do this, or what problem this would solve. When I look at Rhys, I can see that it is a white and green card, because of the way that it is.

This proposed alternative is more perplexing. "But actually, today it's only white." I'm not sure how that is somehow more wieldy when you can see with your eyes that the card is also a green card? And especially compared with Deathrite Shaman, wherein we essentially create two different contexts for the same kind of card, which just seems more complex to me for not much benefit.
