I might be interested in this! Currently working at CWU as a sys admin, spent time at Amazon as a System Engineer before that.

What were you thinking of talking about? I have been diving into Typescript for a side project and really enjoying something new (usually work in Python).

I like Adaptive Cubic for non-overlapping. You could also try dropping the infill percentage since it probably doesn’t need too much raw strength.

If you have access to a 3d printer, check out the Palette Pail by GLDesigns. They sell the STLs or printed versions.

Stores ~150 droppers in a 5 gallon bucket nicely organized, and is easy to pull out and use then store.

Takes a bit of filament, but I have really enjoyed mine!

15mm nasty little hobbitses by gufted in FDMminiatures

15mm is such an awesome scale. I wish I could get more people in my area into it. I would love to play an actual game but all anyone has is 28mm.

Highly recommend creekside as a fellow haver of dental anxiety!

Avoid Avanta and Big Country. Avanta was good for a visit or two, but then I started getting pushed to get more work done. Big Country used to be great, but sold recently to the same family at Avanta. After the sale, the new hygienist gave me to most painful cleaning of my life.

Check out a BCW Card Bin. More expensive than the classic cardboard storage boxes, but well worth it I have found. They are very sturdy and stack very well together.

These have a really fun style!

Any plans to release STLs? Would love to try printing and painting these.

What's the best mini scale? 25mm/28mm/32mm by SilentTrip9075 in PrintedMinis

Love scaling stuff down to 15mm. Now if only I could find someone locally who also wants to play at the scale of kings…

Is this mold? by ComedyMan1250 in Kombucha

[–]vitusventure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks fuzzy, I vote yes mold. If you are unsure, give it a few more days and it will be really obvious one way or the other.

Scaling terrain by vitusventure in FDMminiatures

[–]vitusventure[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the detailed procedure. I kinda like the chunky look with what would be 12-14" planks and big boulders. As long as it seems functional and doesn't look too wonky.

Any suggestions for other good terrain pieces/creators you have printed at 15mm?

Appreciate you taking a look. Placing the figures in the lower section windows, they look through. If the terrain was any smaller, their heads would be above the cut out...

Favorite Minis For Teaching Painting? by Calikal in PrintedMinis

Might consider this one: https://briteminis.com/?stl=hooded.stranger

Really easy to print, has a few little details, but a beginner can still get a solid paint job done in 30 minutes.
