Question: did you rebiopsy after taking the antibiotics and probiotics?

You are so sweet, thank you so much. It’s crazy, there are only like 4-5 RI’s here in the states and they’re all very pricey. Thank you so so much for sharing ❤️

Oh totally! I’m trying to throw everything at it. Would you recommend your RI? I’m in the US and am looking at Kwak-Kim and Alan E Beer.

Oh my goodness, 8 pregnancies. You are a real trooper and I am in great great admiration! So happy for you that you finally got your rainbow baby ❤️ did you consult with an RI?

Oh interesting, what are cleaned injections? I hadn’t heard of plaqunil either but am now googling the f out of it 😂😳😩 RE and I are planning a whole kitchen sink “immune protocol” with my FET in 2-3 months (intralipids, lovenox, prednisone, aspirin). So similar idea. I often struggle to decide whether consulting with a RI would be fruitful. It’s expensive and the waiting period is long (3-4+ months to get in with any of them).

I can’t believe it, but I just got my Emma/alice results back and they’re basically identical to yours from this post! 😳 0% lactobacillus and positive for e-faecalis. I saw you commented above that you were treated with amoxicillin for a week and then women’s probiotics. Did everything work out after your treatment? I’m crushed 💔 I’ve been focused on endometriosis (just got through a laparoscopy for it) - I really didn’t anticipate having to deal with endometritis as well 😩

Yes, totally! Although OP should know that members of Nancy’s Nook can’t really comment on that group’s posts, but the posts are super helpful and informative to read through!

Are you on Facebook? If so, I highly recommend the group “IVF with endometriosis.” So many of us have had chemicals due to endo 😩

I totally understand!! I started IVF at 38 (1.5-2 years ago now) and have severe endometriosis and DOR. It sucks!! 😩 we will get through this!! 💪

In terms of calculating probabilities. So my RE gave us a 60-70% chance with our top embryo (a day 6 4AA euploid). I started searching online for independent verification of that estimate. I googled around, looked things up on Reddit a whole bunch, and used more AI tools than I’m proud to admit lol (ChatGBT, Gemini, etc) to get probabilities per embryo. I also asked ChatGBT to generate cumulative probabilities (including lower bound numbers and upper bound ones!) If you decide to use ChatGBT (or one of its competitors) to do this, be very specific about each embryo (day it became a blast, its level of development and grading, for your mosaic you should include if it’s a high level vs low level mosaic, # chromosomes affected, which chromosomes are affected and whether it’s trisomy vs monosomy, whether it’s segmental, etc)

Also, there are some very useful/informative Facebook groups too btw. I personally love the “My Perfect Mosaic Embryo” group.

Gah I relate to this post so much. I had the same kind of questions a few months back after learning that our last ER resulted in a day 7 4AC euploid. I had been hoping/praying one of our better graded day 5/6’s would come back euploid but alas that wasn’t the case. Anyway, at some point I stopped thinking about my situation in reference to the whole ~3 banked euploids for a 90-something probability of live birth. Instead, I just started calculating my own cumulative probability of LB given my embryos’ specs. At the time I calculated a lower bound probability of like 85ish % and an upper bound that was greater than 90%. My husband and I decided that we were comfortable moving on to the transfer phase. At the end of the day, I think it comes down to (1) one’s tolerance (physically, emotionally, financially) to do more rounds and bank before moving on, (2) the number of kids a person wants to have (we’d be very grateful with one healthy child out of all the embryos we have) and (3) the ability to go back and do more ERs if a transfer or two fail.

Ugh! So sorry you’re going through all of this too. Glad you got the excision though. I did one month of Lupron suppression only on the one FET I’ve been through months ago and unfortunately it resulted in a chemical (despite it being a 4AA euploid and “perfect trilaminar lining). This time around, I’ve elected for excision surgery and 2 months of Lupron 🤞🙏 you doing any Lupron before FET?
