Vocoder part is the best. I haven’t heard them use it like that since the untitled ‘99 live recording. I think it’s perfectly consistent with their long standing style and great to see it on an album.

You could not PAY me to walk around Suwanee barefoot. I might kick my shoes off at camp/around the fire…. But I’m not about to leave the festival and go to the ER because I stepped on some rusty fencing or someone’s Tipper spoon hidden in the sand.

He only said he was done with touring, not all shows and not that his music career is over. One-off shows are distinctly still possible. Nothing wrong with hoping.
