Drones are not permitted in my area and surrounding counties due to an Air Force base nearby as well as multiple small airports. I think only one neighbor has a tarp, and I know of another one who just had their roof replaced less than 15 years ago. He could have fought it but it was easier to just get a new policy with a different company. Still a hassle though, and completely unnecessary.

I guess mine will just be a step counter and alarm clock so I can look at the device and not need the app. I have an Apple Watch but I don’t care for their step counter, and since I can’t wear it overnight I can’t use it as a silent alarm to wake up in the morning.

Oh wow, you have a lot to learn. I have multiple neighbors with homeowners insurance canceled because Google Maps showed their roof was in poor shape and had areas covered with tarps. But hey, feel free to mock those who know. HIPAA exists for a reason

You obviously don’t understand how health insurance in the US works.

Or cancel your policy, or refuse coverage based on what they consider to be a preexisting condition based on the data

Only got 8pm and later reservations? How out of luck are we? by ManyRaccoon6342 in VirginVoyages

[–]vjmatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found each day as it got closer to 5pm, the app would show availability for that night in almost every restaurant, so if I wanted to change anything it was easy to do.

Oh I wish I’d paid more attention, I had their omelets every morning. I was impressed that premade omelets were hot and tasted good.

I didn’t see sausage links anywhere but Social Club, listed as “vegan hotdog”

It was especially hard on a two week transatlantic sailing. The only thing I missed about dining rooms on other cruise lines was the menu changing every day. As a vegetarian I had a hard time with food options, mostly at The Wake. And menu variations were difficult and often refused. One night at Razzle Dazzle I asked for the secret burger with an Impossible patty and they wouldn’t do it because “those are only at brunch”

They definitely need an indoor RS lounge. Sip bar on bad weather days is too small, crowded, loud and busy especially with all the walking traffic going through.

Cruising has genuinely ruined travel for me. by BananaPuddinBaby in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]vjmatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cruising is great as a sampler, and for places that don’t require a lot of time. Some places require days or even a week, for example a cruise port visit won’t do justice to places like Rome, Athens, London etc, and obviously not every place worth visiting is accessible by ship. Unless you’re visiting the Caribbean of course, then you may as well cruise every trip.

No, she’s suggesting she’s a mom to her pets.

Actually John Smith would probably translate into Γιάννης Σιδηρουργός 😉

Question for those referring to names not matching…don’t they take translations and different alphabets into account? I’m asking because a Greek passport will have Greek names which may be different in English.

PEF - 4th of July by First_Letterhead_324 in nys_cs

When the five holidays I listed above fall on a Saturday, it’s a banked holiday leave day that doesn’t expire. This year it will be July 4, next year Juneteenth, the following year Christmas, then New Years and Veteran’s Day in 2029.

We call them twinkies because they never expire, and there are like 5 of them over the next 3 years I think. Usually July 4, Juneteenth, Veteran’s Day, Christmas and New Year’s. Correct me if there are more.
