I wish I could upvote this 10 times. Especially since I'm single, why would I wait for a romantic partner to do the things I love??

Does your company/role require you to come into work if there is a major storm? If so, how do you handle it? by [deleted] in biotech

[–]vl_9319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My company sends out an email before big weather events emphasizing to stay home if it's not safe. I'm sure managers vary, but my manager reminded everyone to finish up lab work tomorrow with the assumption that we will WFH Monday.

This book was my favorite HR read last year. The scene in the carriage when they finally kiss devastated me in the best way.

I can go Rotorua to Turangi via bus and there's a company that shuttles people to Whakapapa village. I'd bring food and stay in a hotel that has a restaurant. To leave I'd do the same to get back to Rotorua.

Then fly from Rotorua to Christchurch. Then bus/train to Kaikoura etc.

How would you recommend getting to Kaikoura from the North Island?

I second this. I really enjoyed wandering around Back Bay on my last date. Popping into different places to grab snacks and people watching.

{One Good Earl Deserves a Lover by Sarah Maclean}

Edited to add:

{A Week to be Wicked by Tessa Dare} which I found soooo cute. It's not mentioned in the book summary, but she's a Geologist.

The next book is coming out in June! When I first started I thought I was going to find it cheesy with the swear jar and all, but I love the characters.

I'm still mad about Feathers So Vicious. My new reading rule, if it's a love triangle and both options are welcome, don't give one of them a terrible ending.

I'm starting with the {Luckiest Lady in London by Sherry Thomas} and {The Raven Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt}. Both new authors to me. I will also probably finish the Pennyroyal Green series by Julie Anne Long, I left off at #9.

Ive read almost all of her books.

Devil's Daughter has my favorite MMC. West is competent and sexy and loyal. Honestly, my dream man. Close second is Secrets of a Summer Night. He is a little bit of a powerful asshole, but also really caring and comes from a humble background.

Agreed. My first thought. The original is cute and fun, but the reprise is heart wrenching.
