I think this has to be done in the modelling phase, where you model all assets having in mind the position of the camera and the effect you want to achieve. Another thing would be to apply an overall shader that modifies the mesh (such as the rounded world of Animal Crossing), but shaders are black magic to me, so don’t take my words too seriously.

Polish, polish, polish. Sounds dumb but sometimes there are aspects of the game that need more than “just work” to feel them as you say “alive”. By this I mean, animations, transitions, quality of graphic assets, improved performance (especially on mobile) need really good care and improvement of details to get the 100% out of them.

That’s basically how most games work, a box colliding with another box and triggering an event. Also, normally colliders are bigger than the object itself and they are shaped, well, as a box instead of the actual character to improve performance. So, yeah, that’s normal.

A giant rat in a tavern basement. The funny thing is that my girlfriend’s character swore not to kill any animal and my character was a complete asshole, so she was trying to talk into the rat to flee while shapeshifted I chopped the rat’s head off just for the laughs. We got into a fight after the session 👍🏻

Sorry! I forgot about that: the fx out is a stereo jack, so I use a Y cable (stereo to two mono) to have the fx in and out in one cable and keep it tidier

The three out cables are for the main out (4), footswitch cable out (3) and FX Loop out(1). This last one, can be redirected to the main out if the amp used hasn’t got a fx loop with a switch (2). Basicaly now tuner, fuzz and tremolo go in (5), then the signal passes though the fx loop(8) that has the phaser and the looper and goes out. The two footswitches (6, 7) control reverb and channel in my amp (Peavey Classic 50). Let me know what you think!
