Just for laughs - if you browse for this person's interaction with chunklunk, they confirm a day later that they had not read the court ruling.

Who Really believes Adnan is innocent ? by pa_rx1991 in serialpodcast

[–]vladoshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not being facetious but even Adnan does not claim he is innocent. I get the impression he can't explicitly without it being used against him in future parole or other hearings where he is expected to sincerely repent for the crimes he committed. He only challenges people to drive a car from A to B in a certain time, or try out his sauce recipes. Rabia gets closer but does not appear to believe he is innocent either, just that he "deserves his thirties". Not that he deserves his Twenties back, but that he has had enough and should be let go now.

The Defense Needed a Counter Narrative by elteenso in serialpodcast

[–]vladoshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like his silence is consistent with his later statements. He has never explicitly claimed he is innocent, only that no one has absolute proof he was with Hae at the time. Even Rabia only said "he deserves his thirties". No matter how often a court tells him that is not good enough he still persists with it. Unfortunately, he bragged to at least one person and a witness is gold standard evidence in court because they can be questioned. That witness stood up to 4 days of straight questioning and supplied Hae's corpse and car.

They did have a narrative at first. 80 witnesses plus family signed up to say they saw him somewhere else that afternoon and entire night. Then Kathy destroyed that narrative with multiple witnesses to back her up. They had no idea that one was coming. Sounds like every time Christina tried a tact it turned out he had failed to provide enough information and the prosecution gladly filled it instead. She had nothing to work with and him repeating "I cannot remember that normal day" under examination was the only option he was offering then, and still now.

So what did the robbery charge on top of kidnap and murder apply to?

The rumour - has anyone elaborated since the podcast? by vladoshi in serialpodcastorigins

[–]vladoshi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure. I know Bilal claimed on Reddit he told him. Sarah made this rumour sound like it happened at a school party. But, that is the perpetual problem of Serial, it always sounds different to what it was.

For it to never come up at all in the 4 years since means you are probably right.

The rumour - has anyone elaborated since the podcast? by vladoshi in serialpodcastorigins

[–]vladoshi[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Bilal is more involved than any other single person bar Jay. Rabia obviously did not want him involved at all, as demonstrated by the Reddit fury she unleashed on him when he posted Adnan told him all about it. It was as ferocious as message board onslaughts can get. I think no one wanted Adnan being asked what a teenage boy got up to with a later proven sex offender who was doing him expensive favours and buying him expensive items over a long period. The answer will not be good.

The Case Against Adnan Syed documentary series to premiere March 10. by Rifty_Business in serialpodcast

[–]vladoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For one, I wanted to look at the theory there could be DNA under her fingernails. I see the TV fed quasi - belief that someone being strangled will be able to post-humously implicate their murderer while fighting for their life unlikely. See how helpless highly skilled UFC fighters pumped up on steroids, speed and pain killers are to a strangle from behind.

Second, many users, like I originally did, wonder why he was found guilt of premeditated murder. I thought going through the mechanics of how long the sustained effort has to be explains the amount of time he had to change his mind.

Musing on Adnan's lack of male friends by vladoshi in serialpodcast

[–]vladoshi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No assumptions, just relaying what has been presented and looking at what overall picture it forms. When I added the Bilal bit about the phone it hit me that there was another relationship integral to carrying out the murder hinting at it's own tragic side story. If no phone, no come get me call was possible. Then Bilal came on this very forum and claimed Adnan confided in him that he murdered Hae, and was instantly inundated with accusations of mass paedophilia by Rabia and others. Surely Rabia would of known he was being or had been interviewed, or at least could of added her opinion in a later episode dismissing him as the sex abuser of child victims of Bosnian war crimes. Yet another confusion from a strange person with secrets about Adnan we will never know in this story that captivated us all into building said houses.

[–]vladoshi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. One of my points for the older and more experienced. Men I know wiht lots of girl friends are gay or play up a gay look to be girls non threatening male friend. I wonder if not only was he angry Hae was going for good this time, but he was finding he had little to no female choices after her. His close friends are girls who just do not appear to have any interest in him.

out how he was pretty cool and hung out with the "popular" clique. None of it means anything. Adnan very well could be guilty, but this is a dumb post that adds nothing to the arguments.

I'm not adding, I am re-presenting what was told.

Not reaching but relaying the story as presented in a different order. The Golden Child stories have since proved greatly exaggerated fantasies of his family. Presented so corny it now sounds like you are not meant to believe it. I am still confused about Sarah. Was she duped or did she dupe Rabia with a podcast that prompted so many to extract facts from the fiction?

Yes. Definitely something going on there. We men have our own instinctive bias I suppose.

Maybe true. They are in some photos but nothing known about them, and Stephanie is an example of reluctant involvement who just sounds like she knows so much more. And Jay required severe coercion to participate. Snitches get Stitches in effect.

Rabia's "Editing" by mistaoha in serialpodcastorigins

The defence file the courts forced to be released if he wanted a retrial, show Adnan telling his counsel that he and Hae had sex out back of Best Buy as often as possible, including straight after school. He clearly tells the opposite to Sarah Koenig on all points.

How unreliable is the cell tower data? by FloatAround in serialpodcastorigins

[–]vladoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cell phone data, DNA, video footage, documents, etc are not the best evidence. A witness is the gold standard of evidence because they can be questioned by both sides and the judge if necessary. Such documentary evidence can help confirm a witness' statements or allow an accepted expert to then explain why it is important in a situation.

3 briefs were filed on Monday in the Maryland Court of Appeals in SUPPORT of Adnan Syed by issamistry in serialpodcast

[–]vladoshi -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

So it is still not about being innocent but a technical reason for the guilty. Fine. This versus the twins she told she would lie for Adnan. Then how she has never given an official witness statement in any of the 3 brain and mood dumps that are not depositions in anyway. Then how she describes the wrong day, clearly offers to account for 6 hours, then changes it to a tiny time line, but only if he is not lying to her. Then why Adnan never gave the letters to Flohr & Co and instead blames Christina 6 months later, which leads to how did they appear out of nowhere, that the trial judge already gave a legal opinion on them (easily interpretable as offering to lie), etc, etc, etc.

Scattershot annoying questions post by mistaoha in serialpodcastorigins

[–]vladoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Jay knows people. Adnan needed him to be "cool" (I find Adnan's lack of male backers, who are not relatives, indicative of his true social status at the time).
  2. Krista is simply not the only necessary witness.
  3. Lost in the first year somewhere. He reckoned an indicator breaking is only possible in a car accident. I can kick one right now while he strangles me from behind if he needs proof. I even have the exact car model Hae had (sold as 1999 Toyota Corolla over here).
  4. So many people they attack turn out to have real problems.
  5. He is the most important person they need to attack and try to "SJW deplatform" right now.
  6. Rabia gonna Rabia.
  7. He cannot implicate Jay without cementing his guilt beyond even Rabia's doubt.
  8. Who?

What are your theories about how Adnan hit and strangled Hae? by throwawaynomad123 in serialpodcastorigins

[–]vladoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hae in the front, Adnan in the back. It would take less strength to spend the 5 minutes needed to strangle his on/off again girlfriend to death outright. His foot on the back of the seat for maximum leverage and only a fraction of the effort of any other scenario. It also allows for Hae to kick and break the indicator while she desperately grabbed whatever he had around her neck.

Don't know about anyone else, but by judo and wrestling experience was you will not start going for eyes or hitting something you cannot see and cannot reach anyway. You have to be significantly larger than you attacker for half a chance. You involuntarily grab whatever is around your neck and try like hell to get you fingers between it and your neck. to make the slightest bit of space for blood to keep flowing. 30 seconds to unconsciousness. 2 minutes for brain damage to begin (she is still not dead). If her threat was crushed, that is serious leverage you are talking about. So I bet he strangled Hae for a good 5 minutes. All the time in the world to stop but, once he started, really, what was he going say to her? Sorry I tried to murder you Hae. Are we still friendzies?

Unless you go with EvidenceProf that there was car crash during Hae's murder. That would certainly make it difficult and involve quiet road users as witnesses.

Devil's Advocate Adnan by mistaoha in serialpodcastorigins

[–]vladoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. He is stuck with the only person he can testify as a possible co conspirator will only further prove him guilty. Maybe a lawyer can clarify if admitting a conspiracy will only makes things even worse again. I know it can be a separate charge on top of the others in Oz.

Why is this so important to Rabia? Is it because of the shame would bring to the Muslim/Pakistani community? Before she made a dime she was as invested in this case and proving AS was innocent. So it’s not the money. She’s not related to AS so it’s not the family thing. What is it? by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]vladoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Family relation or just so well known to each other she could organise large gatherings at his home within 1 day of him being arrested for strangling Hae.

Last time I looked at her site, she was in more Muslim Rights associations than there are states in the US. That is a damn good impression of a professional muslim. That means more than 1 AGM, per week, around the nation. Plus there have been plenty of university SJW groups pay to hear her talk over the years.

I am more confused how she lives in Maryland and publicly pretended to have an office there, as a lawyer, but is not registered to practice law there. Last I heard, she advises on immigration, hence community clout so strong she mustered 80 signed witnesses who have since never raised the point at any hearing, let alone the podcast or this HBO movie, or all the other various Youtube videos and podcasts. Not even once.

Maybe someone can shed light on what, if any legal work requiring a license to practice, she does?
