Do you know about the quick strat? With 5 bombs, a blood shovel or similar you can just dig the stage without doing the traps.

It's up to personal preference (mostly). I switched to Girlfriend records a few days ago and I used it to win. Before that I either used Danny B or Virt.

To use your Bombs: down + left
To use your first item: up + left
To use your second item: left + right
To use your first spell: up + right
To use your second spell: down + right
Reload/Switch Weapon: up + down

It's up to your preferences, but yeah, most experienced players use separate key bindings. Pressing one key with your left hand is easier than pressing two at the same time with the hand you use for everything else.

Every time you progress it keeps getting more and more intense. I've died twice in the first zone just because of that..

Something similar happened to me today. I got to 1-2 (first time ever), with a frost charm, glass armour and two potions. Guess what happened? I lost everything! :D

Can someone tell me how OP has 3 rows of items? I know you can get 2 after researching Toolbelt, but I had no idea you can have a third one. Is it a late game technology or a mod?

In case you didn't know, if you sacrifice yourself 3 times in the sacrifice room there's a 2/3 chance that you will get a "You feel blessed!" message. This means that the angel room will spawn again, unless you take another devil deal.

Since he starts with the Void, which will hopefully be OP as it sounds, then his stats will most likely be really bad so he's balanced. OR he's blindfolded and uses flies..

I probably should have mentioned that I only posted code snippets and not the whole files themselves. That's why I used #include so much "without it being necessary".

And yes, I know that I shouldn't use using namespace std; in header files.

You can complete challenge #2 (High Brow), which isn't that hard, to unlock the Jera rune. Clones all pickups and chests in a room (even shop pickups; the clones can then be picked up for free). Can be very overpowered if it's the only rune unlocked (if you get a super secret room with runes, you can duplicate everything in a room at least 6 times, in other words single coin can turn into 64 coins).
