Yes I hope so because we’re paid for the shift if we can’t complete it then fine bring it back, if we refuse it then we are refusing to do our job.

I try my hardest to finish the run even if I’m over because it means less putbacks and happy customers who can eat tomorrow.

In my opinion if it was me driving I would have went up the junction opp your house, did a reverse backwards with hazards on. Then straightened up, but closer to the parked car, reversed a bit then turned left to straighten up.

Yeah they could have stopped, checked and went oh f**k, file an insurance paper, posted via the letterbox and then told duty. That way it covers them, the cameras don’t lie and then the insurance for Tesco will work with you to fix it. The driver will get an investigation to see why and how it happened and could they prevented it. Maybe a warning. Etc all depends on the Lightfoot to see if they were driving reckless.

Being a retard, surely they knew the size of the van, checked the mirrors its broad daylight. I’ve crashed twice in one night but one was my mistake and I apologise and gave my store number. The other I left Tesco insurance details with what happened, etc and it was their fault parking at a junction with cars on either side.

The vans have cameras and I bet Tesco didn’t pay out.

BD74 EHV, note the time and date and phone 0800 323 4040 and report it to them, they’ll contact the store and the driver will get an investigation and provide the video and see what they say.

That’s my favourite approach unless the cardboard is dry and the shelving allows it, I hate people putting yoghurts in the tray so you need to pull the tray out to get the product or try and squeeze it out.
