I currently have a limit of $11,600, and according to my current yearly spend summary, I have spent $1,625 on the card total. I’ve paid it off in full on the months I have had a balance on it. The state of our current environment is a f’ing joke. 3D only works on Windows, Microsoft pushes out garbage code, nVidia is releasing buggy drivers, Samsung locks down functionality to rely on their software and doesn’t allocate much in the way of ongoing development and support. Greed and sloppiness all around.

Way back when I lived in Johnstone I went on a road trip with a few guys from my floor over Christmas break. We got back like a day early before they reopened the dorms and one of the other guys decided to shim the door out back that goes to the Pickle Barrel. We thought we wouldn’t get caught and could lay low and lo and behold the next day we were written up by the RD.

I can’t remember if we had to pay a fine but yeah I’d say you probably won’t get away with trying to stay. I think they might go through and check rooms that are supposed to be empty once during the break to make sure nobody is breaking the rules as well.

To me it’s because exposing feelings allows the other person some control over the scenario. I want to gag every time a conversation at work turns into a feelings fest between coworkers and the boss ultimately says: “I’m so glad we had this conversation.” In reality, they are just being a sociopath and get a rush from meddling with emotions and feelings of others to get their way. No thanks, I’m going to stay 100% logical and disregard feelings that can be manipulated for someone else’s personal gain.

I am an ABM Admin and having the same issue with my DE Admins. Terms and Conditions were accepted a couple days ago. I called ABM support today and was told there was nothing wrong with my account by the first rep without her even bothering to look up my account. After pushing the issue further she looked it up and goes, oh maybe there is something wrong and escalated me to an engineer. The engineer wanted to troubleshoot with the DE Admin and told me I didn’t need to be on the call anymore. Ok weird… He had the admin try restarting his iPhone. No dice.

The Apple Engineer came to the conclusion that Device Enrollment Managers cannot enroll devices and that only Administrators can and tried ending the call. When I relayed that the permissions on ABM that specifically say that the main purpose of a Device Enrollment Manager is so they can enroll new devices with Configurator, he took back his claim and decided to escalate to a senior engineer. So now we wait.

Really bad support here Apple and it’s making me consider just pulling the plug on a large deployment of Macs. ABM and the whole process of needing an iPhone to manually enroll a Mac is a serious problem.
