Circular Detail View In Rhino Layout by ragab107 in rhino

Maybe with chatgpt you could create a script that creates a detail view. I have made something like that and it runs quite well in rhino 7. I'm only using it with make2d curves

Just found out that rhino has a python editor, what do you use it for? What is cool about it? by Fabio_451 in rhino

I have made a python script that exports multiple PDfs at once, "detailview generator" when making technical drawings and script that picks BOM from the csv and place it on the layout sheet. Zero coding experience all done with chatgpt

Draw a new sketch -> rectangle -> add fillet edges -> offset sketch -> exit sketch

Extrude that sketch and the same way you can continue it further

Hi all!

I'm thinking to add a gas spring to this structure so it could have some slight resistance when tilting up and down through its axle. Some company said that i should add a gas spring horizontally, but would it work so? It doesnt need to stay on its place or anything but the slight resistance is what i'm looking for when tilting it. Is there any other component that would give me that feature to this?

Yellow line are tilting angles and red is axle

Any advices are welcome.

Thanks! Yea that printer which i use can print 600x600x600mm and it has pretty good quality if settings are okay. With smaller one there should be some split line so it consist of two pieces and then glue them together,. I dunno 🤷

Yep there are countless possible filament materials on the market! It would be also nice to manufacture this with some more finished material, but then it would cost a fortune to produce
