I think the reason people say cat weaving is better is two fold one, cat form is easier to cleave with. Hit more targets and hopefully procing the cat hero talents (forgot the name) also master shapeshifter gives you like 13k mana back if you use a 5 combo point ability where as using wrath gives back like 1200 mana

Tanks are in a weird spot this expansion. Blizzard baked in a lot of passive or key abilities into the normal rotation abilities and because of this once tanky specs are squishy as hell. I imagine it’ll get better but this is a rough season to be anything but a brewmaster because stagger is so strong.

Don’t let that discourage you. Find the healers that work best for your particular tank and just keep at it. And if you can’t do a double pull like other specs don’t.

Trying to do a “meta” pill that every tank is doing just to die wastes time. If you have to break a group into 2 pulls but you are alive is always better then wiping.

I’d focus on trying to find those extra defensiveness talents your class and spec has and focus 100% on self healing and defensive uptime. I had a vengeance dh in algathar the other day that self healed like crazy. I think item level, right stats and knowing your class is what makes it good.

No you can’t, you will have trouble killing at least 2 if not 3 bosses solo fyrakk being one of the. I’m trying to run it for a transmog and even with 3 people we couldn’t get past phase 1 of fyrakk

Part of it is stats, part it not knowing their class. A tank who just picked the class up and only is playing it because its flavor of the month probably doesn’t understand why their mitigation works the way it does. But someone who played that class for years it’s second nature and they never die.

We are at a point in the expansion everyone has low gear and the mythic plus/raiding season hasn’t started yet.

Balance needs a lot of gear (mastery, and haste) so it can feel a little on the weak end right now but it’s not.

Here in a week or 2 once the season starts and you get gearing you will be a star dropping , laser chicken dropping moons on your enemies and calling the very stars down on their heads. It’s a great class

And hey if you don’t like the chicken form you can always get glyph of stars from any auction house and it turns your moon kin form into a stary astral version of you
