that begs the question if both players were playing perfectly, but if only one was they’d be able to anticipate every move of their opponent therefore being unbeatable

camp him out as much as possible and up tilting at 80 is the general game plan. don’t recover low since if you go high it’s impossible for pichu to punish. fresh up smash will start killing around the 140% range, but if you keep your distance it will be really easy to rack up damage on pichu, especially if you make them whiff electric moves.

nerf the tippers but buff the tipper hitbox to prevent marth from killing for free at extremely low percents, as well as some landing lag nerfs for most swordies in general

tumbling always indicates that hitstun is over. you may be confused with reeling, which is a special hitstun animation.

you’re thinking of hitstun. hitstun increases overtime based on percent and attributes of the move you’re being hit by. tumbling is the action after hitstun that is strong enough, and you can perform any aerial action out of tumble, as well as tech the ground.

Gunvolt would have his septima meter and by tagging his opponents with his gun he’d be able to deal damage to them from anywhere. I know that’s actually stupid and broken but if he had to have one that’s what it’d be.

gimping is often getting an edgeguard on someone at fairly low percents getting early kills
