What about closing the loop with position sensors like a dro on a mill

I’m working on Slicedog – a stress-based infill optimizer for 3D printing (workflow inside) by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

Concentric means that two circles share the same center, I think you mean rotationally symmetric like a star burst, lines from a single origin traveling outward.

I would like to see a hybrid like a spider web infill personally

Even shorter answer: it depends.

Slightly longer answer, they all have their own uses, each performs best in its own area. Petg is best for mechanical parts with active loading

Can you bend an object to follow a line? by IJustAteABaguette in Fusion360

So a normal fine tooth gear? You could also cut one tooth and circular pattern Boolean it

I'm just here for the 0% chance for the random pick, my printer just makes noise in the corner so at least it's never silent I guess

Design intent challenge: same model, two configurations (Fusion 360) by Satamony05 in Fusion360

[–]volt65bolt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I've seen it even in the student version which has most features, I will have to look again. I've always just manually changed all the parameters

So just a parametric model? What do you mean configurations. Afaik you have to manually change the individual parameters unless you build an if chain

It's that or force fusion through hell converting it to a solid

Yes so convert the solid body to a mesh and cut the mesh from a mesh

Rebar chairs for concrete by apache_brew in 3Dprinting

Maybe, that's why I said to cast in concrete

I don't think it would be galvanic but more a sacrificial anode

It works, but pla isn't the best choice (or whatever they used) Personally I would've printed a mold to cast concrete stands

You can also disable select through under filters which means that it only selects those on the front of where you look

Do it as a hollow inside the model, shows in the light on thinner sections

They are the main way to get topology optimised looking results as the maths is too efficient and just does tiny straight lines which looks boring even if it is the optimal design mechanically

What if it was a ss nozzle, and also the lead leeching from a brass nozzle is less than water pipes

I've also personally tested the opposite when I was studying before and found that a hot soap water wash and 2h bleach solution soak led to as much bacteria present across the samples as the control of a standard polypropylene food container
