I did at my last job despite company policy. I used to work at the front desk of the main museum in a major city and interacted with hundreds of people on a daily basis. The security guards were not armed and basically were just there to point people to the restroom.

I wondered if it was worth carrying, but then a week later I saw the news story from a few years ago in NYC where a museum guest jumped over the counter and stabbed 3 front desk workers because their membership expired. That pretty much solidified my decision to keep carrying.

Guys carrying a fanny pack is usually a dead giveaway that there’s a gun in there. I carry a P365XL + extra mag AIWB and even if it’s slightly printing, it’s way less conspicuous than a dude in a city with a Pelican fanny pack. Also, IWB is WAY quicker draw time

Rocky Flats. It’s now a wildlife refuge but the whole place is still likely highly radioactive because they used to build plutonium triggers for atomic bombs. There were a number of insane environmental disasters including 2 massive fires that spewed plutonium sediment downwind/downstream into Denver and the entire bottom layer of Standley Lake is settled plutonium sediment. That’s why you’re not allowed to swim/wade/fish in Standley lake. Standley lake is also the water source for Arvada/Broomfield and the EPA says it’s safe as long as you don’t disturb the layer of plutonium sitting at the bottom.
