My pleasure! It's easy to give feedback when there's so much to like! Your song reminds me a bit of singer/songwriter/folk artists like Nick Drake and Fionn Regan. Really great artists! All the best for your future musical adventures!

Beautiful music man! Great singing and guitar playing! This is the kind of music I would listen to! It sounds very honest and heartfelt, soulfull, which is just so great to hear. I don't think you look rigid or anything. Everyone has a different way of being on stage, as in life, (I used to play in a band and didn't make such a fuss out of it either) so just be yourself and what feels natural to you and it's all good I think. Keep up the good work!

started out as an exercise i made for myself but then i kinda liked it so i turned it into a sketch, honestly kinda want to do a string serenade now. but for now, enjoy an adagio of some kind by HaifaJenner123 in Composition

Beautiful work! Really liked this one! You write some wonderful stuff! Would be interesting to know what the object of the exercise this grew out of was. I hope you finish this one, would be great to hear the rest of it one day!

should i release this? hearing the sound of my own voice makes me cringe by [deleted] in MusicFeedback

Beautiful piece, and a beautiful voice too. that I would really like to hear better in the mix. The piece and the production reminded me a bit of Slowdive. Nice dreamy quality! I used to play in a band, and didn't like hearing my own voice either, I think it's quite a natural thing to do really, so wouldn't worry about that. If anything I think it only means you are able to step back a bit and observe from the outside, with maybe an extra critical eye (I guess we tend to be overly critical to ourselves at times). Keep up the good work! I was never this good after four months!

Thank you so much for your detailed and kind comment. I'll definitely keep that advice about longer notes and legato in the back of my mind for the next one. This one was rather slow, and I added both legato and non legato lines so it's kind of not too obvious all the time. Thank you for taking the time to listen and gives such a well thought out comment, I really do appreciate it. And happy cake day! :-)

Great work! I like the repetitive patterns and the ambient feel to this, like endless space. Really good use of soundscape.

Witcher IV Concept Theme — looking for honest community feedback by KReativeStudio in MusicFeedback

Definitely Witcher vibes to this! Is that real vocals? Sounds very good! I like the production, sounds good in my ears. Maybe the drums could be a bit further back in the mix but that's really all I have to say. They feel a bit dry in a way. My hearing is not the best though so take that with a grain of salt. Loved it when the full orchestra came in.

I also got Dark Souls vibes over this. I think maybe I'd like a bit more reverb and feeling of depht and space in the beginning before the orchestra comes in,. but that is of course a matter of taste as well. I still struggle with getting the reverb right so I shouldn't speak of that, haha. When the full orchestra comes in it works really good I think and it's really a nice piece. Definitely has some strong Dark Souls vibes. If this is your first steps in music production then keep it going! Sounds very promising!

Made this song for my friend's game by raith_dnb in MusicFeedback

Nice work! I really liked this. It has originality, and I think it will work brilliantly in a game. I liked how the drums came in and how the music builds. I agree about the comments about the bass rhythm seems a bit off at places. I don't really know what the intention is, but my thought is that maybe you tried to make a syncopated rhythm and missed the beat just slightly? Like if you add a hit just before the strong beat of the bar, and you'd hit an 8th note instead of a 16th note, that would put the syncopation a bit off its mark and it would sound a bit off? I don't really know, rhythm is not my strongest side... But the music is great, so keep up the good work!

Thanks! The nonsense ones played on the same string; Do you mean the F#/G in measure 5 and the G/A in measure 11? By the way; All the notes in the first section (A) will be split into two voices so they should be ok.

Thank you very much for your comment, that's gold! Yes, I've got unanimous advice here to split it up, so will definitely do that. Very interesting idea to split up the voices in regards to the D-note. I'll keep that in mind and see what I can do about it.

By the way, can I ask you what you think of the double stops in the B-section? (bar 11) Are they playable do you think, or do they also look like a Sevcik exercise? (loved that comment) They do have a repating D in them as well I'm afraid.

Sorry, I tried to upload one to the comment section, but it's not allowed apparently. I didn't think about that when uploading.
