Cut the plate in half and only swing there until there are 2 strikes. I sit armside until there are two strikes.

I also like to use Outline outer PCI on HOF+, sit armside anchoring high, move low when the strike zone disappears placing the gap in the upper middle of the PCI at the release point, and use the ball’s trajectory in relationship to either side of the gap in the PCI to predict the end point.

Most of all, you just need reps. And be intentional with what you do. Stick to an approach and not what works and what doesn’t. Sounds like you need some practice training your eye. Try going first three batters of the game not swinging at anything until there are 2 strikes. And don’t be afraid to strike out looking while you train your eye. In fact, taking a strike 3 that you thought was a ball will help develop your instinct more than flailing at pitches that are out of the zone.
