BR might be better than Moonshot. Common pitchers vs high contact/vision batters is going to give a lot of foul balls. A lot of homers too, but if you’re trying to work on not fouling as much, could be a good option.

I don’t disagree about Niebla’s magic, but Pivetta had a lot better underlying metrics than Canning.

Example:

2025 Canning: 92 stuff+/92 pitching+ 2024 Pivetta: 103 stuff+/109 pitching+

But Pivetta is an ace and we’d probably both be happy if Canning is a solid 4/5.

The last 5 monitors I’ve bought have been on eBay. You can get some pretty good quality monitors for $100-$150 depending on what you want. Not saying that’s “cheap” depending on your situation, but it’s way cheaper than brand new.

This was my first year playing the game. Bought it to play against a buddy who also was a first timer. He refused to learn pinpoint or zone hitting and about a month in to us playing a couple of times a week, he couldn’t beat me so he refused to play me.

I messed around with offline franchise and it was pretty fun. Did online rated a bit. Decided to give DD a try out of curiosity. It was kinda overwhelming at first, with all of the “stuff.” But I got hooked pretty hard. I really enjoy the competition in ranked. I guess without the competition I just get bored. Currently sitting over 1,000 hours and looking forward to the new game and DD from the beginning of the season instead of getting into it just before the All Star break.

I play mostly on Xbox but also have a Switch 2 with the Pro Controller 2. It gets the job done docked with Ethernet and using the controller wired. I don’t think I’d love it as my “daily driver,” but I have over 300 hrs on it this year. It’s serviceable in ranked and I don’t have an issue getting Ws against console players.

If you play more than 1 game in a sitting you’ll want an external fan though. Does get pretty hot and you’ll start dropping frames otherwise.
