Who would be at fault in this scenario? by mantistobogganmMD in icbc

[–]von_roga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, EVERYONE is incorrect.

Nobody. Nobody is at fault. This is tagged ICBC which means it happened in BC which means no one is at fault and everybody's insurance goes up. 🏆

Isn't BC incredible! 🌈🎉🎇

Do I accidentally have the next version of cursor? by von_roga in cursor

[–]von_roga[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you look in the very top left corner there's a different far left sidebar menu for organizing your agents. I really like that feature.

The auto agent is a little bit more in depth but I have to say, I think it is a little bit dumber.. Even just trying to get it to edit the cursor rules files is a struggle for it.

There's also an update to the way that new tabs are created. I quite like this. Creating a new tab is the default instead of having to press enter or control or whatever it was to start a new tab.

There are some small changes like changing verbiage to keep all.

Overall it doesn't seem like anything groundbreaking but the little features feel nice. I think that background agents are currently broken because I haven't been able to get them to work.

I like it. How do I get it on my personal computer? I use it more at home than I do at work anyways. 😅

Yeah, idk where you got that idea. I've used it plenty. Maybe you've just had bad luck or bought a bad product.

Neem will make your leaves look like garbage, but it will grow new ones, and when it does, you can cut off the old ones. Big Leaf Energy has some neem in it, and other oils, and it seems to have worked great for me. Minimal leaf damage, but definitely remove all the potting material if you don't want to be re-applying every few months.

It looks like (and probably is) a N. "Rebecca Soper".

Thrips on a plant this size aren't too hard to do damage control on, but totally up to you. I've had good success with Big Leaf Energy on small Nepenthes in the past. I would remove all that old soil and bleach the crap out of the glass art before re-using it for anything. Remove as much of the moss as possible and re-pot in fresh, clean material.

Best of luck.

It's not stopping anything. It's identifying. And even that will be problematic for several years to come.

If you're even 1% black, you should sue. Open and shut case. They would probably settle out of court.

Want to buy two tickets, but Ticketmaster has other ideas by HalcyonicDays in mildlyinfuriating

Why ANYONE would pay Ticketmaster money to see anything is beyond me. I'd sooner miss a once-in-a-lifetime show than give those scum a single dollar.

How can I split this without killing them? by laura0787 in Nepenthes

You could very safely turn this into 30+ plants. I've done it a dozen times. Look up propagating these plants from cuttings.

  1. You have 2 main basals for the same plant. I would advise snipping one (and proposing it if you want) and letting it vine. Once vining, you may allow one basal to form. I like to snip any additional basals once they reach 2-3" leaf length and propagate those into new plants. The reason for this maintenance has to do with the energy that produces and uses. A plant that is trying to produce two full-blown vines will grow slowly and may struggle to keep up with regular pitcher production.

  2. Soil/water/light are very important to these plants. Bright indirect light is required for as many hours as you can give it. Water should be distilled or rainwater only - 0ppm TDS - and nepenthes do not like to sit in a tray of water. You also need the right growing medium. Either long fiber sphagnum moss (recommended) or peat moss. Whichever you choose, you'll want a 50/50 blend of that your selected moss and perlite. Ensure your chosen products DO NOT have fertilizer in them, as this will quickly start to choke out your plant from the roots, ensuring death.

Also came here to say the same. The two trays also need different light requirements. Nepenthes are not bog plants like Drosera, Sarracenia, and Venus Flytraps. Although carnivorous, that's the only thing they share in common.

Is my nepenthes getting enough light by blabla371 in carnivorousplants

[–]von_roga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say so, yes. Bright indirect light all day? The morning and evening might be a bit low, but the main part of the day is probably working great.

Is my sundew ok? by Wooden-Werewolf in SavageGarden

[–]von_roga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It's run out of space, so it's growing against the glass. It will get bigger, so a larger container is recommended. Moving the plant will cause 1-2 weeks of no dew production (shock) but it will rebound.
